| Ah, so that was the infamous “umbrella death” which intrigued me enough to pick this anime up. A little goofy, I have to admit (that perfect angle, though-), but still a decent plot twist(?) overall. So far, this show is getting a 7/10, although I might upgrade it to an 8/10 depending on how the lore is explained. |

I'm almost certain someone brought this up in the 14 pages preceding but the umbrella stand placement is pure "anime logic".
Why place the stand in front of the classrooms rather than the entrance of the school or where students change shoes? All that's going to happen is students bringing dripping wet umbrellas and getting the hallways wet/slippery.

| @Reina_Orikasa Omg wait you're right LOL I didn't even think of that! Well I guess that explains why slipped. Not only was she stupid and ran down the stairs, but they would've been wet too Rewatching this show, and I've been picking apart pretty much everything about this show and getting so frustrated by the writing. And it's funny because this show creeped me out when I first watched it a year ago, but now I find it more frustrating than creepy |

| Well, this episode was great, now, the real thing begins. What we learn in this episode: - Dolls are empty, so they are closer to death (?). - The first year of the "story of class 9-3 of 26 years ago" and more about the girl that died. - What schools some characters want to enter after graduating. - Sakuragi is a good girl. - The characters know the aforemention history, but do not want to talk about it for now. - Sakakibara mom was in the class 9-3 at her time in that school. - The that died before the begining of the anime is, actually, called Misaki Fujioka, and was Misaki Mei cousin. - DO NOT RUN DOWN STAIRS WITH A POINTY UMBRELLA! |
