| While I thought it was a great episode, I was also very disappointed at the same time. I wish they stuck to the novel a bit better, but I'll take what I can get. The dynamic between Ryuuji and Taiga was as great as always. I don't think it neccesarily means that they will become a couple though nor do I want them to. Relationships comes in many forms so it seems to me that this episode emphasize how their friendship has grown from what orignally was a helping each other with their crush type relationship. Last but not least, Minorin is still and always love~ <3 Needs more of her :D |

| This has to be the best episode I've seen from Toradora! The whole swimming contest was epic. Taiga was so brave and funny. Not to mention the whole bikini scene. ;D I'm so glad she realized that she likes Ryuuji. Now we have to wait and see what happens. |

| Mmmhhh..... frankly speaking: I didnt like the end of this episode at all! Taiga can not swim. She needs rubber rings, water wings etc. and has problems to put her head under water. But when Ryuuji is knocked out, she suddenly mutates to a female version of Baywatch hero "David Hasselhoff" (I felt a deep urge to mention him....yes, Im german). :P So she somehow dived down to him, and managed to bring him up and out of the pool? Dont be silly..... Afterwards she cries her heart out screaming that he belongs to her and no one should dare to touch him. What if his lungs were filled with water and he needed reanimation? Taiga would have killed him with her stubborn behaviour. When I saw this scene I made the exact same facial expression as Ami: As some of you already mentioned, I also think that Minori und Yuusaku need way more screentime. Otherwise they will not be more relevant to the show than these two guys:  But I like them, since the question "Why is it always Ryuuji" is qualified! :P |

| I knew that Taiga was going to come out and some something like that at some point, i just didn't think it would be this soon in the show, so that was a shocker there (to me anyway). I'll be curious to see how their relationship goes from here on. |

| Taiga is an awesome character. For a little while Minorin was just a bit higher but the last 3 episodes Taiga is straight up there in my favorite characters list. It was really great when she went back and saved Ryuuji and she sat on him screaming 'He's mine!'. Taiga = lots of <3 ^_^ |

| LMAO at taiga's dirty tactics! and kugimiya rie crying is WIN. i hope taiga doesn't start brandishing a magic wand if she really wants to keep on using that "dog" excuse for takasu though. and as for takasu, all i can say is - WHAT A MASOCHIST. and takasu's mom could have said her advice better with less words: "takasu, taiga's a tsundere!" that's all there is to it XD |

| good antics, funny episode, but i'm not digging ryuji x taiga at all. i might've liked taiga more if i hadn't already seen shana, louise and nagi. but i feel like she's just a lame mix of those three, with no redeeming qualities. so now it's like same old, same old. give taiga some hair-dye, introduce some dragons and wizards and suddenly it's lamer version of ZnT. But I do dig Ami and Minorin a lot though. i like the show, but i'm watching it for them. I think they're much more interesting characters. i'll give this show a lot more respect if it doesn't go the standard ryuji x taiga route. |

| I actually felt like this episode was a cop-out after Taiga practically confessed, but then changed the meaning later on. It feels like it's trying to artificially lengthen the show. I think it would have been a good mix-up to have them get together early on and have this act lead to interesting situations later on. Other than that, it was a good episode. |

| This series was always good in my opinion. But now... it's grade freaking a! I laughed soooo hard at Taiga'S dirty tactics + "i thought she was armed" and it was soooo ridiculously sweet at how concerned she was with Ryuuji. I can live without the dog thing and picturing a different pink haired wand toting mini tsundere but omgoodness everything else is the best. |

| Feel free to say that i`m wrong, but a girl saying that a guy is hers seems more than a love confession than any other thing else. No, really. This anime keeps on making me change my opinions. @ first i was liking Taiga, then hating her, then going Meh, and now "FUK YEAH", probably hating again next episode.... as for Ami, i was like, fuk, omg someone kill her, then liking here, then going "Fuk Yeah" and now meh, probably ending in meh. as for ryuuji, LOL, pwnzors, okay..., w00t,\o\ and now as wtf! dense bastard. probably ending in meh. kushieda never grew on me, but i think she is a good character.... Just like that glasses guy. BTW, Was i the only guy who went OMG FUCK YEAH! on Taiga saying that? No, rly. the first 3 pages had almost no reaction about that. Its not like was liking some reaction using [size =999] but it seemed to me a bit "underhyped". |
| Love confession? Nah, that'd be way too soon in the series, if that's the way they're going with this. If it does turn that way, I'm thinking a final episode thing, but honestly, it's definitely becoming a family relationship. There's a love, but it's not romantic. |

Ami figures Taiga has serious feelings for Ryuuji and is using that to her advantage that's all it is. But Ami figured this from the moment she came on the show which wasn't the case at all. We all know that we didn't get "real" proof that Taiga had feelings for Ryuuji until episode 8. Taiga appreciated him and cared that he cared for her and she returned the feelings, but it wasn't translating to love, at seems as such in her mind from what I could see. Episode 7 definitely laid out that Ami was a tease and did all she did so she could show up Taiga, while Taiga was on a whole other wavelength in that episode and it had nothing to do with any romantic feelings for Ryuuji. Episode 8 was perfect for showing the depth of Taiga's feelings (which is easily apparent now), besides Taiga no one really was too scared for Ryuuji especially in the women. Minori was just her usual self and sorry to say Ami was indifferent and when I saw her suck out her tongue I figured that was her way of saying that she figured Taiga's feelings wen thtat way. |
