| Soldier doing everything he can to make Rebecca happy and healthy was very touching. I really hope that they'll both get their happy endings very soon. Rebecca doesn't deserve all the hate just for being born with the Royal Family's blood. It's tragic that entire bloodlines are deemed to be cursed and irredeemable because of the actions of a few. A few bad apples may spoil the bunch but it shouldn't be the same way for humans... |

| Good lord, what does Oda have against mothers in One Piece? :S Hope Luffy doesn't hold back in the finals and allows a bit of colateral damage to the stands of the colosseum. Guessing Doflamingo's done such a good job gaslighting the entire country that they don't realise they're likely in just the same state as when the previous King ruled. Don't get why Rebecca and her mother were living in such simple housing though if she's the grand-daughter of the former King. Questions now though are how they actually found out who she was and was captured to fight in the colosseum, and how Toy Soldier was a toy before Doflamingo actually became King. |

| Man Oda knows how to do peak backstories. Absolutely peak. Toy soldier quickly becoming one my favorite b tier characters. He probably Rebecca real father. And if her grandfather was king. I could see him being the true king and heir. And Rebecca mother took her into hiding even before flamingo overran the country. Flamingo got to be one the just worst people in the show. It’s like every episode he becomes more evil. S tier villain. |
| Poor Rebecca, her backstory really breaks my heart. I'm assuming the old gladiator is the former king (her grandfather) that's somehow still alive and the toy soldier is probably her father, who she never met or forgot about. What makes me wonder why was Rebecca and her mother living in the countryside in such a remote and shabby old house? I'm assuming Rebecca's mother is the King's daughter and with some bullshit politics or some past trauma her mother and her left the palace to live a humble life. So far this arc is really promising, the whole "the toys that were once human and now they are fogotten" is quite sad and heavy to digest. There quite a lot of potential in this arc!!! Also I can't wait to meet señor pink, I've watched his backstory from tiktoks and it broke me. Damn this arc is full of trauma and hard backstories from the characters, I'm not sure I can't survive this without shedding tears! 😭😭😭 |
