Ardanaz said: Yeah I'm wearing wintershoes too. Apparently they suck cock! >:( They're a couple years old now, so whatever I guess. They're really comfy though ;__; Gotta try and find a similar pair. Yeah, I failed 3 times and one time I didn't know the test was being given. So technically it's my 5th chance lmao Damn, winter shoes that aren't leakproof are really useless... though finding comfy shoes is always such a pain :< How often can you repeat that test? :3 Tyrantarmy6 said: Well, they're school students so of course they do :P Nah, it doesn't look like they'll abandon mate and xfce. You know how stable those are, especially xfce xD Don't know really how that works. I guess it's just that the calculations are time consuming :3 I don't think they've even started the vulkan port yet :3 And it should be a pretty obvious one too. I mean, why should I care about what players are doing on the other side of the galaxy, let alone waste tons of cpu time and RAM? xD They're also doing things like sending network requests in batches so they don't have to make so many requests to the server all the time :3 Also, crytek is trying to sue CIG :3 So how're you doing today aside from it being friday? :3 It's an ecchi anime so of course the shouldn't though :P Not that I mind what they do, will never use Mint anyway. For me it's either Ubuntu or Debian ^^ So they achieved that with OpenGL or DX11? Quite impressive, wonder why other developers always have such problems with it though. Sending as batches should really be standard though. With databases that's common knowledge, should be the same with other network connections :3 Yeah I read that, Germans trying to spoil the fun as always xD The usual I guess... still investigating what parts I should buy for my cousin. Tried a build with cheaper components except for GPU and CPU. Then I could buy a better CPU, but of course the other components will be worse so... I'm not sure, I think I should rather stay with better components allround since the CPU will be sufficient anyway ^^ How about you? |

So you're saying as long as it's an ecchi anime the female characters aren't allowed to wear anything that isn't super skimpy? :P For me it's annoying though since this probably means I have to look at an arch based distro after all xD DX11, yes as the game for now only runs on windows. Then again, CIG has a lot of developers from the original team that built the cry engine and whenever they do anything impressive on the engine side it's almost always the frankfurt team that's responsible for it :3 Well, the cry engine apparently has 0 network optimisations in place; no batch updates, no range culling or anything like that etc which is also partly why they switched to lumberyard so they could at least benefit from the network optimisations that it had though it still didn't have everything they needed :3 And yeah, with databases you really want to keep the amount of queries as low as possible, unless of course the individual query ends up so slow that individual queries would be faster xD People in the community are quite salty about it. I wonder who's in the right though. I mean, you would think CIG would have made sure they can actually legally switch to the lumberyard engine even if they had a contract like crytek claims, yet on the other hand it wouldn't seem logical if crytek sued them without any foundation to stand on :3 Cheaper components like less RAM and the like? But if you don't save on the cpu and gpu then does that really help much? I mean, those 2 are usually by far the most expensive parts unless you go way over the top like with that new imac pro for nearly 16k euro :3 I'm doing fine as well I guess. Only had time for 1 episode of jitsu wa watashi wa yesterday and right now I'm making a site responsive. Tomorrow I'll have to try and find christmas gifts for me family which is always a pain, and in the evening I'll be going to the cinema :3 |

Well that's better than nothing I guess, still I wouldn't use an engine from Amazon. Seems like the wrong kind of company to do somethign like that :3 Or the resulting query would be so long and complicated, that nobody would be able to understand it anymore xD I think from our standpoint it's impossible to know who's the bad guy in this one. We don't know enough about possible contracts between the two companies, so I guess we can do nothing except for wait and see what will happen :3 Nah, more like less clocked RAM and a cheaper power supply. I can save about 50 bucks with the other components which I could use to buy a better CPU with SMT. But in the end I think it's not worth it :3 I watched my usual two episodes of Railgun and 4 episodes of Okusama. At this speed I'll finish both this weekend and gotta start something new. Luckily I already have all my christmas gifts already hehe. What will you be watching? :3 |

@Gator: That's only with first year subjects for us. It does make sense tbh. It would be fucking retarded if they kicked me out now when I already finished my thesis and everything. The two subjects I still need to do have nothing to do with what I want to do. They're purely for the piece of paper now :/ |

It even has built in support for AWS which is something they need to make this work (or a similar solution like google cloud) :3 Like that query you had to work with a while ago that took aaaaggess to execute? xD Yeah, let's just hope it turns out the community is correct and it's just the death throws of a dying company trying to snatch as much money from CIG as they can to try and save themselves :3 But you were looking for a ryzen cpu right? From what I heard the performance of ryzen is highly dependent on the memory speed of your RAM :3 Something lewd again? :3 I'll be watching star wars with a friend :3 |

Interesting choice, doesn't Steam offer something similar? Though of course they would have to release it on Steam then which is quite the problem given that they probably wanna release it without DRM and without giving Steam 30% :3 Yep, 800 lines of pure SQL... literally impossible to support xD "Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment." You're hoping too much again :> Or maybe Chinese engineering ist just horrible? xD I read so as well, but if I look at benchmarks the difference is really really small though unless you compare something like 2133 with 3200, which is way too expensive though. Dual rank memory seems very important though :3 Most likely I'll watch Index 2 after Railgun and Hacka Doll after Okusama ^^ Oh, I thought that it would be Star Wars... I haven't even watched Rogue One yet though xD |

It worked nicely until I needed to use my ps3 controller. Got the controller working after using a console command. Still couldn't use it in the actual game itself though since flatpak apparently has no means of allowing controllers in subprocesses. So I ended up installing it the normal way anyway :3 Nah, I'm not expecting much anyways :3 Also, what do you think about wine's new venture into getting dx12 to run on linux using vulkan? would by quite ironic if they succeed xD Yeah, thank god I don't have to work much with SQL, let alone such horrible abbominations xD I'm not sure what to expect for this one so I'm not expecting much :3 Of course it is xD Then again, RAM is too expensive these days anyway thanks to dem smartphones :3 B-But hacka doll isn't labeled as ecchi :3 I watched both star wars 7 and rogue one in the cinema. Every distro is of course still better than Windows where you need to update everything manually xD I never used Flatpak so I don't have any experience with it. Sounds like it's not something which is ready to use by everyone already though, I like the "normal" way actually :3 Oh they do? Haven't read much about wine since I don't use it anymore. Would be even sweeter if it ran better than the DX12 version then xD Unfortunately I do have to work with old SQL stuff, but there are worse things... like COBOL :3 In the end we'll probably never know as they will somehow resolve the problem internally ^^ Comparing anything with Russian stuff is not fair though xD Yeah this is quite annoying... The RAM I'm planning to buy for my new mainboard next year costs more than a 4 core CPU with 8 threads O_O Demi-chan isn't labeled as ecchi either, as long as it has some fanservice I'm fine. Most of the time it feels like two companies will just make a deal with each other without the public hearing about it ^^ I saw that GIF before, that must've been painful to train for... literally xD My DDR3 RAM is way too old for me to remember how much it cost, probably half? ^^ Unlikely, but not impossible... still I'll probably just watch it anyway :3 But from a technical point of view it's actually quite good... As I said earlier you can make it do this with a console command, but even then it will only pass it on to the main process, not any of its child processes and obviously steam games run as a subprocess of steam :3 Only if this interface was useable outside of wine though. Unless windows 10 actually overtakes windows 7 I doubt it'll become mainstream anytime soon :3 Then why did crytek make such a big public deal about it if they were just going to make an internal private deal with CIG? :3 Yeah xD Also, that picture of aligning the teacups is not japanese, but chinese :3 Yeah, they need to do something about this already :3 It looks and sounds good and runs well, but it still only has 40 player matches in the largest game mode while the original battlefront 2 supported 64 players, and in singleplayer even up to 128 bots on certain maps :P |

I bought Skyrim in Steam, but also had a uhm... "special copy" still on my PC. If I open Steam and then start this special copy, Steam still counts the hours, even if Skyrim isn't even installed on my PC through Steam xD Even more reason to go for Vulkan, but who am I telling that? ^^ I don't think Crytek made it such a big deal, they just sued them and such information spreads around rather easy I think? Though I haven't paid that much attention to the whole story :3 Should I be surprised that you actually know where it is from? xD I hope they will do something until April next year... T_T I only played Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2, but those were good games. Unfortunately I'm not in the mood for FPS anymore... also I noticed that I need some new RPG games, the last one has been way too long. Can't even test my graphics card that well, only old games and Warhammer xD Are you glad you're experienced in that topic? :3 It does that? That's interesting xD Yeah, game devs probably won't listen and just use dx12 anyways ^^ I just hope CIG won't have to waste too much time and money on this nonsense :3 I just happened to have seen where it's from before :3 And if they don't? :3 What about games like divinity original sin enhanced edition? :3 |

T_T Is that game even that tough on the hardware? Either way I'm not really in the mood for an oldschool party RPG :3 |

Wh-Why are you hitting people? :o Nice :D Net-juu no Susume? That one looks quite neat, always like anime with different protagonists hehe I only watched two episodes of Railgun yesterday and the two specials. Oh and the 4 minutes OVA at the beach xD |

Neat :3 Maybe you should do so more often? :3 Because that's the anime I watched 4 eps of yesterday after watching the weekly stuff. Would've watched more, but I had a bit of a headache :3 I see you weren't a fan of the filler stuff in railgun? xD |

Given that I gave the first 4 episodes a 7/10, this got worse rather quickly xD Sweet and heartwarming? I thought it was mostly meant to be funny actually :3 |

I know that railgun S also has some filler at the beginning and end iirc... or was it just at the end? eh whatever :3 |

I don't really care if it's filler or not though as long as it's enjoyable to watch :3 Oh well, got one OVA of Railgun left and then Index 2 is next. Only watched a scene on YouTube to see what it's about in which she wanted to buy something for a MMORPG at the local store. That was quite funny ^^ |

It's already good to me if it's not set in highschool :3 Even from the anime I'm watching this season, blend s isn't set in highschool even though the characters are mostly highschool girls, mahoutsukai no yome isn't set in highschool and konohana kitan isn't set in highschool either :3 |

So how was your weekend? :3 Eh I'm not sure... it will have more Touma so probably not? xD More common at least yeah, still not common enough. But maybe that's one of the reasons why I enjoy newer anime more than the old ones :3 |

I'll probably watch Rogue One when I get home from work ^^ Had some people over at my new place to look at some Japanese vacation pictures and ordered something from the Asian delivery service. So it was nice :3 His "fukou-da" is actually quite annoying to me as well, even if your image fits today pretty well xD Mostly looking forward to seeing MISAKA again. |
