| What a way to finish this arc in particular, this episode tied up a lot of loose ends, Ichigo and co leave the soul society and go back to their homes except Rukia who opts to stay behind and ultimately this arc was great overall. There were ups and downs definitely but I do think it had a lot going on for it. This final episode to this arc was more on the light-hearted side of things which I would say has more than earned it considering the serious stuff we dealt with in the previous episodes. I feel it went on a bit too long for it’s own good but again it has it’s ups and downs like I said and probably the best part of Bleach so far for me. The next arc is going to be the Bount arc which I hear is very much a filler arc and it’s 40 plus episodes long, some people think they need to skip this, some have claimed as the worst arc in Bleach and that the quality itself dips down significantly. But seeing as I’m someone who up till now NEVER got past the Soul Society arc and go beyond the first 8-9 episodes in the very first arc as a teenager speaks volumes about how behind I am with Bleach currently. For now I’ll let the manga catch up to where I am in the anime but I’ll pretty much put Bleach as an anime on an indefinite on hold until further notice. But for now I really enjoyed the Soul Society arc in general. ‘Nuff said. |
