| pretty much the same basic ones as everyone i think--PMs, friends, all but two of my watched forum topics, and i noticed some postings were missing b/c the threads are gone :-( but that just means we get to put everything back together again--no sweat. ;-) |

| Aside from losing friends, threads, messages and posts... I am unsure what else I had lost. I think my anime updates are still there. One of my profile banners vanished along with my avatar but I managed to replaced them already. I did notice one of the clubs I was managing it now missing. It vanished.. Perhaps, the data loss not just affects things after February 20th but prior to it as well. I am still checking MAL out. Update #1: I checked my manga list and found something strange. I haven't even started reading Immortal Regis yet but it clearly indicates that I have completed the series yet the numbers are strange. Immortal Regis - Reading 45/44 chapters 6/6 volumes 45/44?! Not completed?! |

| Not that I give one tiny fuck, but while this corporately sponsored site was down for those 12 or some odd hours I lost a mere 120+ friends, several clubs, threads, and countless posts that expressed my inner thoughts on the forums. edit: Just checked, I also lost all my incoming PM's, and all my archived outgoing Pm's that I kept for various club reasons. |

| Also I feel I should apologize to the 400+ members of my tech club on behalf of MAL's severe fuck up as several posts in several threads were lost. I understand that MAL might not take the initiative to do live backups or any backups for months on end for that matter (assuming they have done any backups at all), but they should at least give me the option to backup my club data somehow if they won't even do minute things like run backups or have a failsafe backup server ready for crashes. I also think that if MAL is corporately sponsored these days that any site related expenses should come before any personal expenses. It's extremely pitiful when I'm willing to take more initiative to do backups for my club with 400+ members then MAL which currently has at least 100K members. |
