The end of E20 is where the first few episodes of To be hero X happened and also the start of Li Ling’s Story. AND WE GOT 3DCGI ANIMATION TEMPORARILY BACK🎉🎉🎉

@Niwaka-Samurai Shang De (Treeman's CEO) sent him. We saw him in the last episode (I think) staring at a purple tank with the "Fear" Phobiaclone inside. Apparently the original Phobiaclone used to be X from what I read in the timeline

@Niwaka-Samurai Seems a bit odd to me that Micky and Shand, even knowing about Rock's secret connection to Zero, decide they'll ruin Rock by attacking the excavation when Rock's already trying to do that. Guess there's nothing saying Micky can't misunderstand Rock's priorities, or maybe it's that Rock would have spun it as Ghostblade's heroic sacrifice without the interference, but I feel like I'm missing something.

Right off the bat, the animation has clearly taken a massive upgrade compared to the past episodes. Fitting, since the story itself has gone off the rails too. Like, yeah, seeing that first scene with Nice, it’s clear why he did what he did back in episode one. Honestly, it’s wild that for a moment there, Loli was actually keeping up with Nice. I mean, I expected what happened to Ghostblade with E-Soul to happen to her instead.

But oh boy, she went absolutely bananas when she came back and saw what happened to Nuonuo. And who knows what would've happened to her if it weren’t for OUR GIRLS CYAN AND QUEEN coming in to save the day. Though, a little too late, because yeah, heroes can’t save everybody, and we saw that firsthand here. A really depressing firsthand, but yeah... everything’s gone to shambles now. And then all that stuff with Zero and X, YES, X.. DUDE CAME BACK AND SWITCHED US BACK TO THE GOOD OL’ 3D AT THE END THERE... :o!!

What an episode. I honestly don’t even know what to say. So much went down, and now there are only four episodes left... Let’s see what Dragon Boy’s got for us next week.

@Bio he was just doing as he ordered by Rock. As Rock lost his trust in Ghostblade, he wanted to finish him off using E-Soul and he wants the Johnnies to be eliminated since they were thorn in his path right from the beginning since the incident with Johnny's father and Big Johnny being an alien. E-Soul was willing to 'cause that would be one less person to climb over the rankings.

I no longer understand the point of this show. It seems that the so-called “heroes” are some of the most horrible people who lack self-control and are so hot-headed. The world would be a better place without most of these detestable heroes.. They cause more destruction and deaths than help. It doesn't make any sense. I liked the series when it started, but now it makes absolutely no sense anymore.

@Niwaka-Samurai Why Rock suddenly loose trust on Ghostblade ?

What an INSANE episode, battles everywhere. Glad Queen realized that was Big Johny & was able to calm him down before he slaughtered everyone. And I guess this is the start of the spiral that led to Nice's suicide in Episode 1. What a Charlie Foxtrot, and it's all the Manager's fault. These guys are straight up evil, maybe the heros should take them out. Question though, did anyone get the stuff out of the ship in all this mayhem?

Can someone explain the part about Rock's father? Did he kill Zero, or was he Zero himself?

@Bio now that you mention Mickey's motivations does seem odd. Out of all the characters in this show, he is the one who seems the most incomprehensible to me. Is only business his motivation?
My guess was he just wants to increase the trust values of his heroes from DOS and maybe he just loves chaos xD

Starting with Loli vs Nice where Loli fought ingeniously while protecting her father and NuoNuo. Og Nice was a piece of shit. So their purpose was to stop this research on the alien material so they can't stop the current hero balance like Luo wanted as the current situation is too subjective opinion based. Also X is here and it's switched back to 3Dcg with his arrival. What an episode.

Also wait is X supposed to be the new Zero?

@atlans89 In this episode Mickey mentioned that all the Heroes come together and ultimately defeated Zero.

Basically all of Nice punches and kicks were infused with either fear/trust, and while her suit protect her from said 'buff', the actual damage she received were just a stronger mere human punch and kick (yea i said this because, Nice still do some workout to his body).
"But she's still get thrown away multiple times right?" Physics mate, it is the shockwave of the attack which actually do the most damage to her.

I've said that she received the normal damage, but since the power Nice had were at top 20 rank, which is already very strong (and he has "Perfection" power from trust, so i can assume he could do literally everything a hero expected to do on this universe), shortly he's a superman of this franchise. Imagine how strong is the shockwave from the attack that built up just right before the impact to Loli's suit. Its stupidly strong!

Yea its kinda made some illusion that Loli were THAT strong, while actually nope, she just tanked all the damage, basically nullifies every trust/fear damage she received but not with the physical and after-impact effect (since said shockwave were physic-based not fear/trust-based phenomenon). The same concept applied for her attack towards Nice, which is why he's struggling so much against an inexperienced like her.

@sosu3 mickey has always talking about business. Besides to screw MG's plan, she was literally sent there to indirectly secure LJ to DOS (business).

Holy cow. That was an insane episode, tying together basically everything from the last 5 arcs. Here are some random disorganized thoughts.

First of all, we all saw the deaths coming, but it was still quite brutal. Professor Luo is dead, presumably halting the research into Trust and Fear suppression. Also, Da Xiong did not deserve that. They just kept going after he was dead!

We also learn explicitly about the CEOs' motivations this episode. Rock is a manipulative person who will do anything to clear the obstacles in his path to resurrect Zero. Mickey just wants profit out of every situation, and historically has beefed with Rock because MG gets in the way of gaining market share. Shang De really wants revenge on Rock for killing his son, and is great at using media to his advantage; he's also the only CEO that we know are creating villains such as Wreck and Phobiaclone. Zac is a bit of a free spirit, but I'm sure he has his own motivations; he seems to be working with both Rock and Mickey.

I really want to know where the Spotlight Organization fits into all of this. We know that Mickey has to do with Reporter Liu, so why does he both try to attack the researchers through Shindig and send Queen and Cyan to help? I think Mickey originally planned to kill the researchers using Shindig and pin the blame on Ghostblade, but after Ghostblade won, he got Shang to send Nice while also sending Queen and Cyan to boost their trust.

Furthermore, the parallels between Lin Ling and Yang Cheng deepen this episode. Both of them are very marketable normal people who worked to promote heroes before they became heroes themselves: Lin Ling did ads for Nice, and Yang Cheng acted stage plays. Lin Ling is good and replaces an evil hero though, while Yang Cheng becomes evil and replaces a good hero.

Queen and Cyan did great this episode. Cyan seems to be an ridiculously overpowered support character, while Queen is just her. I wonder if they realize that they're being manipulated by Mickey; from the looks of it, Reporter Liu is planning something involving Queen as well.

We see just how corrupt the media is this episode. Nice and E-Soul are both credited for saving the researchers, while Loli, Ghostblade, Little Johnny, Queen, and Cyan can't say anything. I wonder why this is the case.

Finally, how did the fight end? Phobiaclone wasn't entirely defeated by Loli and probably ran away, but every other combatant was just incapacitated. Did help arrive to take everyone away or something?
