Too emotional and lame, needs more action and fighting.

This is the most filler season 2 of any show I’ve ever seen, they have accomplished 4 episodes worth of content in 11/12 eps. This whole season has pretty much been about tsubaki and no one else, who I don’t find to be that interesting as a character. Overall very disappointing compared to season 1.

So glad we immediately forgave mr manbun and his army of human traffickers because he was sad a little and just wanted to play video games. I'd say I hope there's no season 3 but they're doing the same shit as season 1 where it's gonna end on an obvious cliffhanger

Also this show certainly has a handful of dumb character designs but edgelord Endo takes the cake. And man that one super "serious" closeup shot was goofy as hell. laughed at how bad it looked

And here we have Mikey, well, I didn’t even bother to catch his actual name, but yeah, you get the idea with this character. Honestly, even if he’s one of those super edgy types (I mean ffs, the dude literally came in coming down from a building), he seems better than whatever these past “villains” were. So sure, why not.

It took us almost three seasons, but the MAIN character finally gets a MAIN antagonist. The rest of the episode is just the usual repetitive aftermath, everyone chilling at a restaurant doing... nothing... followed by more nothing on a rooftop just with the Bofurin gang now. Oh and that’s the end of the episode. Great.

If there’s one thing the two most popular shows this season have in common, it’s that they somehow manage to stretch the most boring crap imaginable into twenty minutes. So glad it’s over next week.

It adds one cool character in 12 episodes. 2 fights happen out of 12 episodes in a fighting anime. No characters get more depth to them other than tsubaki and the jit with an eyepatch. I also hate backstory’s for anyone but the main character (that’s just me). Boring waste of a season for me.

If you’re that easily pleased with slop that’s fine with me, but as I said these side characters are a waste of time, we already had 10-15 reoccurring side characters why do we need to add 6 or 7 more and then forget about the ones previously introduced who are more interesting. Also the crybaby is my mister hated character he reminds me of Tokyo revengers, that also made me dislike this season focusing on him so much. They also focused on tsubaki WAY too much, half of her episodes felt like ova specials.

@DarthmirIV And it seems you don't appreciate the inner workings of basic storytelling in which there are pauses in between the action. If you want to just watch people fighting endlessly with no story, watch Dragon Ball.

@KingBaller06 No, I do appreciate the inner workings of basic storytelling. The show is just abysmal in that regard as well. You can't go one second without someone having some moronic monologue that we've heard for the hundredth time lol. Or some wimpy behavior. Literally spending the whole episode going, OMG this food is so good....oh look Sakura is blushing.....oh my I'm fighting because I LUVV UUU!!! I have never in my life skipped more episodes in an anime before. Characters have become soft and uninteresting. Tsubaki is about as stupid as they get. They should stick to a formula that works for them, if they're incapable of even half decent writing. Great fight scenes and action always gets the attention of the viewer. Aside from DBZ, look at Solo Leveling. No moronic monologues, great pacing, characters are legitimately hardcore and badass etc etc. Just admit it, Windbreaker Season 2 sucks.
