| Pretty awesome episode, Watanuki can be pretty badass :O The scene with Zashiki-warashi and Watanuki was beautiful and cute :3 <---- I like this couple much better than WatanukiXHimawari xD, she needs more screen time! And Watanuki sleeping on Yoko-san's lap was sweet~♥ TACHIKOMA! <333 |

I hadn't read the manga for years now but this arc stuck out in my head like a sore thumb because of how awesome it was. I was originally sad not to see it in the original series but very happy to see it as the very first arc here in Kei. X3! Watanuki's new eye is awesome. And how awesome of Domeki. They're forever connected-- *coughcough* Watanuki passing out on Yuko's lap was very sweet. I'm loving that this series has totally thrown us back into xxxHolic without any lip or background info. It's great. I also love the Pipe Fox!! So cute, especially when he kisses Watanuki on the cheek and whines, and so freaking awesome using his fire attacks. X3 And eee, tiny little blanket! Haha! <3 |

| I didn't liked this episode overall... I agree that you shouldn't throw yourself away etc but the way they brought it wasn't very good imo. It was like Watanuki was stupid and an idiot for trying to help Domeki (but it was his fault for getting caught in the web in the first place so he has some right to talk about it) instead of saying it was a nice/good deed... And well I think that if I were him I would do the same, about the trading your other eye to save Zashki-Warashi I mean, what else can you do in a situation like that? Hmm overall the idea behind the arc is good and true but the way it's been told is kind of... contradicting? But well I liked the arc :) |
| Great episode. This anime is getting better and better. I believe Watanuki learned an important lesson plus he put up a good fight against the spider spirit. |
| I read the manga up to this arc, and the series does a great job in making it the best arc so far. Pipe Fox is awesome. |

| enjoyed the GitS: SAC reference very much =) is it just me or does Yuuko get sexier as each episode passes? and i also feel that Watanuki's 'change' is ultimately due to Yuuko's influence, be it intentional or by mere chance, the latter being highly unlikely of course. |

| Great episode I think this closes this arc it was quite some story! I assume we'll be seeing that blond haired spider girl again later! Either way great arc lets see what's next! |

| Wow, that was a great arc. Thing's got really intense; there was a lot of action and suspense. It sounds weird saying this, but Watanuki was a real badass in this episode. He and Doumeki got some good development these past few episodes. And I really liked the whole lesson about self-worth and how a person being selfless can actually hurt another. S'really good. Ohh, so Doumeki can't enter Yuuko's shop because he can't even see it. That's really cool. |

| It is nice how they both gave their eyes for each other. It shows real friendship. Now both of them have poor right eyesight but they still have sigh nonetheless. |
