| @Nurguburu Probably not as popular as the 2000s or early 2010s, but it looks like more ecchi are coming out since 2023. While Onimai is not technically labeled as an ecchi, it is very high in fanservice, and was extremely popular, especially in Japan. Mahoako was also a very popular ecchi this year. If these trends keep going, I think ecchi will get more popular, even if not to the extent they once were. |

| Early is quite not in my taste, but the latter (2007-early 2010) is blast for me. It's my favourite era since there is lot of different things there (theme, design, plot, genre diversity etc) including the community. |

| one of the best periods of animes. the whole atmosphere in the animes of that period is so magical. it takes you back in time. i love watching animes from that period. if the anime is old enough to be in letterbox res i even take out the old crt tv to watch it on. i just love experiencing these old animes and the way they make me feel. i just finished watching kanon too and need some more of that same thing. |

| There's a lot of them that i loved but the ones that resonated with me the most are Monster, Cromartie High School and Gundam 00. Bleach whose TYBW arc part 1 that i just completed some 2 weeks ago was close but no cigar. The ost is my current #1 tho. Did i "see" that time myself? Well as a weeb, no. Names like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Gundam, Death Note, InuYasha etc, lived through them all way back then but i never actually watched them until some 20 years later. They're generally great but the non-mainstream 2000s stuff are better. Storytelling and style wise it was the best decade. In fact i just finished rewatching Boogiepop Phantom, a mystery show that uses a non-linear narrative. Weeks before that it i did so with Shinreigari that tackles out-of-body experiences in a Higurashi-esque setting and in between that i rewatched Terror in Resonance (2014) and while it isn't a bad show it was simply nothing like those two. |
