Depending on what you mean by favorite.
If you are talking in terms of quality, in my opinion, Mushoku Tensei Season 1 Part 2(A.K.A. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Part 2 on MAL) is my top pick, with its exceptional storytelling and emphasis on relationships(Not just romance, but family, friends, etc.), which feels more grounded compared to many other isekais. The character development reaches its pinnacle during this part. I particularly appreciate how the world continues to evolve even when the main character is not physically present in a specific location. The combination of remarkable animation and compelling narrative makes this anime a prime example of isekai done exceptionally well. Phenomenal show.

If you are talking about how much I enjoyed it, High School DxD, it's one of the only harem animes that I could tell myself I could like, from its complex worldbuilding of utilizing different religions and cultures to build its world to other male characters existing beside the male MC, heck, one of my favorite character from the DxD universe is Sairaorg Bael. Of course, how can I not mention the ecchi haha. In my opinion, the tension of the story and simple storytelling is what makes me like this harem anime even more.


Honorable mentions:
WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?, I loved this show, and it's what also got me to buy all the LNs. It's hard to talk about why this is one of my favorites without spoiling it. Hence I won't, you can decide on your own if you will watch/read this.
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The reason I didn't put Re: Zero is because I don't think the anime has reached the best arcs yet, but I still absolutely love the show and the love poured into its making. From the minor details of the animations to them excluding the openings for more runtime.
Houseki no Kuni(Land of the Lustrous) is another one of my favorites, with its amazing use of CGI unlike any other anime, I was surprised at first to know how old this anime was, sadly it doesn't seem like it would ever be getting a sequel since the show never reached high popularity, and gets oushined by the studio's other work, Beastars.
Golden Kamuy I really enjoyed watching this anime, it was compelling and fun.

uh ı saw this post very late but, mine is still re:zero you know, it actually has nothing to do with the quality of animes anymore. The place re:zero has in my heart is an irreplaceable one for many reasons. But lately (since this post was published) I really enjoyed nana, mushoku tensei s2, pluto and movies of berserk (I haven't read the manga). Nana and mushoku tensei have very similar places to re:zero in my heart too. It's natural hence these are my top 3 favs lol.

Mine demon Slayer. I don't like specific anime btw I like all anime like your lie in April,code Geass, eighty six , violet evergarden, erased and so many. But ya demon Slayer is my first action adventure anime so I love most

Sorry but if you liked Demon Slayer only because of animation then you should watch Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay-Night UBW and Fate/Stay-Night HF series. And also you should watch the masterpiece movie series "The Garden of Sinners"(highly recommended).

@Suka-7777-Suka Yup I have Already Watched Many Good Anime 😎 But I don't like demon Slayer Only For animation no denying that I also like for animation(you know how it feels to see a good animation anime with great budget and a like ufotable art style colour palette and shading over character and honestly I don't like mappa art style the shading over character is like many line in dark place it's very annoying and eye design of mappa is 😆 after destroying aot season 3 and 4 i know it is bad to deny that aot is best anime but mappa touched that anime due to compulsion i have to watch whole series including mappa. Wit studio is way better than mappa and talk about jjk animation it looks like 2d actually all anime are 2d but demon Slayer never feel 2d because of shading and high quality texture, render, better tiny detailed I see jjk only 2 episode then I vomit in basin and then delete all episodes ☺️. Actually demon Slayer is my first action adventure and with best animation ever. Mappa have to see dream to make animation like this. You don't like chainsawman and jjk I'm with you because jjk only trying to play cool against enemy and doing weird stuff like tongue in hand and a gojo named creature 😊 who tell that his eye is so beautiful so hi covers up his eyes all the time what a child anime. I immediately understand a person who say I like jjk that person is so immature i guess so. And I already already added fate all series in my watch List. Mann ufotable did a great wonderful job.demon Slayer follow a simple story ie to recover his sister he want blood of muzan so simple but but the way of storyboard direction and plot and twist made demon Slayer best. And action scenes is 🥰🥰. Vinland saga don't suit my taste 🥹.but I know why you added The Rose of Versailles

Btw, Demon Slayer in an another shounen which is carried by it's studio! story and characters are decent! nothing is new in this series, UFO table was always best for it's HQ animation but Mad House, White Fox and Kyoto animation, PA works, Douga Kobo, A-1 pictures, Sunrise are my favourite studio. Specially I love MAPPA, ig you should watch Banana Fish for once.
I don't hate CM and JJK but I am not that interested with this Shounen Animes, also I don't like AOT. But as a psychological, suspence, mystery fan I love Death Note like Shounen but Naruto is my childhood memory.

I recently finished Sousou no Frieren, and Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. They both become my new favorites. Looking foward for the sequels!

@Citrone39 Most of the time MadHouse ignored to create 2nd seasons, they don't even cares the popularity of the series, that's why fans are not totally sure about the 2nd season of Frieren. But Kusuriya no Hitorigoto's 2nd season is going to be released on summer 2025.

Re:0 characters are really so hard to understand and every episodes every scenes are connected to each other. So please watch very carefully(not a single death of Subaru is meaningless), mostly the dialogues of the characters. Re:0 World is more mysteries than AOT.
Keep in mind, Before watching s2 don't forget to watch The Frozen Bond OVA.

Be careful, Re:0 have thousands of fan theories regarding the World mystry and characters (you will understand it soon while watching s2). So please ignore them if you can.
