Imo they should've kept Sasaki's age unknown to Natsukawa and have her believe she was competition. The payoff for letting that jealousy simmer on the backburner would've been far more entertaining.

Kei appears at the perfect time for both of them, certain that something would happen. Sajou appears during the school trip with the girls behind him, Aika's face seems to be jealous, could she be jealous? It was really funny xD.

I think this is her starting to open up her feelings, but it's going fast. The pacing of her opening up throughout the season was rushed since they lost too many episodes to show it.

I'm gonna be honest. I was spoiled by someone that Sajou and aika end up togethor. Which kinda sets me off, He decides to not focus on the one girl who rejected him 8 times and now all those dynamics he formed between the other girls were really for nothing.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate aika but she should not been Sajou real choice. In all honestly, it should of been Fuuka. (Unless the dub did alot of bad mistranslations).

Overall, besides the Stiff animation and confusing dialogue, This could of been a good series if Sajou and Aika didn't end up as a couple but as friends. Especially since Fuuka was set up as a main love interest

I can really relate to the story. It feels like I'm watching myself, but the difference is we didn't end up together.
