The reason is because today people lack the virtue called “patience” and they lost their love of wisdom.

They never new the joy of reading a good book that made you use your imagination or watching a movie that relied entirely on following the intriguing dialogue that made you think.

These people are too lazy to use their brains to think through a well written show with good dialogue and and an interesting story.

They have the attention span of 10 second and need “action” to grab their interest.

It is absolutely pathetic how generations of people were failed by family, eduction, culture, society, social media, politics, etc etc, to become zombies walking around.

It’s not about patience, I sat through all 12 episodes. It was just genuinely not interesting. There were a few moments where I was interested but that was once every three episodes at best.

I haven’t given the 2nd season a shot yet, but I probably will get to it eventually because I hate not finishing series unless they are really bad, but as far as the first season goes it was a 5/10 at best imo.

You know, I wasn’t point fingers as specific people, and I wasn’t specifically meaning you.

You had the patience to watch all 12 episodes, I am happy about that.

If you did not like it, then you have every right to express that, just as I, someone who really enjoyed the 1st & 2nd Seasons, can express that as well.

That is an unsupported assumption based on your own personal opinion.

I made a comment on culture and society, which is supported.

You didn’t like the anime, fine, you have a right to express that, but speaking for others is just unwise, you are forcing words into their own mouth.

Its true that “patience” alone is not the only reason.

Honestly, I would like to hear more about why you didn’t like it, to gain a better perspective on what you are thinking.

I really enjoyed this anime, it was interesting, intriguing, mysterious, logical, fun, and it drew me right in. I really enjoyed the stories and dialogue. Yes the main female MC is a little different than your average female character, but I found it humorous, rather than annoying.

The main reason I dislike this anime is the long Steel Lady Nanase arc. I personally think the arc started out strong but it lasted way too long. The ending was atrocious, it was a combination of a forum argument and the MC killing himself to use his power. If I’m not mistaken, that drawn out long battle was at least 2 episodes long, if not 3.

Minor gripes include the fact that the MC had better chemistry with his ex than the main girl. It felt like he was babysitting her and their dynamic was just overall closer to brother and annoying little sister than actually lovers. I think that the ex really outshines her in every aspect, so it’s really hard to like her when she’s not even best girl in the anime.

Another thing is that the overarching conflict is the MC vs his cousin or whatever. Which is kinda ruined for me since neither can actually die, so it just feels kinda lame. This isn’t a big issue, but when it’s so long and dialog driven your mind wanders and analyzes the plot deeper because not much is actually happening.

I don't know about anyone else, but personally I thought it had the foundation to create a truly engaging story but it chose to sacrifice it in the name of all the annoying tropes and lolli obsession plaguing anime. But that's just my opinion.
