grade 0, I didn't like the "protagonist" npc wanting to spare the murderer, then the wizard with alzheimer's, almost useless, having saved only because he wanted to help the old woman, the story was built saying that he killed a lot of people and also killed several who were there in that dungeon a few days ago, suddenly he didn't kill anyone, and whoever he was sure he killed wasn't dead, so it's ok to let them go but if one day they try to do harm they will be punished, I didn't finish watching no I can't take this idiocy, I don't know if that's what will happen at the end of the episode, I can't take this masochistic idiocy, he makes it seem like he wants to be killed and spare the murderer who killed, stabbed, dismembered, disemboweled, spared... real world who has been brainwashed into being a sheep on all fours waiting for someone to consummate this unhealthy relationship. .. as if that weren't enough, there are even more idiots, there are several NPCs who seem to want to make friends with them to walk hand in hand through the city while being stabbed by the ninja... stupid plot written by someone who should be laughing at forgiving murderous npcs and wanting to be friends with them, there's no other explanation for this waterfall of anime shit that comes out every season, of course it's the money they can take from NPCs...
I can't stand these animes with NPC scripts anymore... I usually just forget about the shit I've just watched and I don't even bother to rate much less comment on something, even the ones I like a little I don't come to rate or comment, I need to be in a good mood to waste any more of my time to come here and give a note. This one hurt too much, it already saturated my patience a long time ago.

This episode gets better with how things being wrapped up by the end of it. Saitou is recognized by the ninja as the person at the heart of his party causing his defeat. Cool acknowledgement of Saitou.

Plus we get to see how Morlock shows his restraint when he knows of the ninja's reason. So we get to see how there is a chance to save the witch.

Two great episodes in a row, really feel the anime now.
The stories stopped being random just when the whole plot converged quite nicely~~

What a stupid episode. The murderer Ninja got away fine and dandy compared to all atrocities he pulled because he fell in love.

The NPC of a protagonist, was fine with a guy who literally tried to murder him and his entire party because he was doing it for his love.

My foot! I always hate when authors try to write grey area in a story and then decides to erase the whole fing thing with a eraser.NO CONSEQUENCES AT ALL, After all... he was in love. 😂😂😂

While I liked this episode I didn't really care for the ending.
Is what the ninja is doing really the right thing?
Why sacrifice himself to save the witch? She has already lived for over 300 years.
She loved him but now he will be gone, won't the result be that she will just live the rest of her life in despair?
Wouldn't letting her pass away be the more humane thing to do?

Edit 1: Also, reading the above post, I didn't really think about it during the show, but yah, the whole "doing it for love" thing is a pretty lame excuse to justify his crimes.
While watching the show I was of the mind that his crimes really weren't that bad as this was a world where people could get resurrected but I had forgotten that he tried to use methods to prevent the demon knight and the king's mage from being able to be resurrected a few episodes back. The show was ambiguous about it, but it's probably safe to assume that he did this with everyone that he killed.

Edit 2: Another thing that doesn't sit right with me just came to mind, what on earth were those two even doing there in the first place?
They acted like they were there to bring justice to the ninja after he was defeated but how on earth would they have known?
Not to mention the chamber they were in was pretty deep into the cave so how would they have gotten there so quickly?
Maybe we are supposed to assume that they were exploring the cave and just conveniently wandered in just as he was defeated but that doesn't make any sense either as the show stated they retired for good in the same episode the ninja attacked them.

Hey kid, what drugs are you on so we will all know to avoid them?

Oh, and you talk about not rating anime, but I just checked your anime list and literally every anime that you have completed has a rating...
And you have given this show a rating despite it being listed as currently watching.

It seems Morlock's memories have returned if he can recall this much of his past. Because of him, the show's lighthearted comedy is back as he starts acting all pervy again.

The show has a good way of connecting one thing to another. Now we learn that the demon who was the ninja's friend is actually the Demon King's nephew. I'd be interested to see if the ninja really dies, as I'm really invested in the relationship between him and the witch because of his character.

I already like it's actually counting down unlike they often do in anime where they take way more time than they actually have.
03:14 thank god that thing hasn't run out of ink yet.
03:55 So now he remembers and uses actually effective magic.
15:20 So his memories did sort of return?
17:00 That defeats the whole point.
Like even the fairy giving up her life makes more sense. This changes nothing, either she'll die of old age after finding love in him. Or he'll die to safe her but she still won't have love because he's dead. Now if he could only give up part of his life and it was a matter of "They are both like 40/50 year old now but at least they are alive. " Then that would make sense, that I would get. Rather than completely transferring his life to her and restoring her to full youth, you could just stiop half way. I mean that's the only possible "good" outcome I can see here. I doubt they'll do that though, but this show has surprised me before.
I just think it's silly if he dies.
