Gundam are pretty notorious for this, they have someone named Quattro Bajeena, Jamitov Hymem, and a videogame character named Bork Cry. There's also Bask Om and Beecha Oleg which in my mother language sounds almost like the word for "basin" and "shaky pedicab" respectively. Random german names in Anime always crack me up. Super Robot Wars for instance features a character called Windel, which is the german word for diaper. Rätsel Feinschmecker is another favorite of mine. |
