>do you really think, wanking a character, constant inconsistencies, asspulls, shitty dialogue, bad action, messy moments that make no sense and rendering the MC useless is good?

No that's not good, that's why those chapters were so amazing.

Just another thread made by the OP to get their own cock sucked while outrightly denying everybody having even a slightly different opinion. Classic. I love your threads and your replies OP. They help me keep my own fanboyism and delusions over my personal favorites in check.

Blatantly ignorant and delusional people like him are a blessing in disguise. We can learn from bad examples.

George RR Martin said that writers are either gardeners (spondaneous based on character whim) or architects (plan ahead and build up to it)

Isayama not only is clearly an architect, but is numerically and qualitatively the best and most detail-oriented architect in fiction out there. There is nothing that is even that close to the ambitious, analytical genius undertaken by him. Nothing has as much foreshadowing, references that complex, that numerous and that layered as his work.

It's funny because before Attack on Titan, the closest thing that comes to mind is not even a drama, it's a comedy called Arrested Development.

Thank you, Isayama.

could you please explain how is he an analytical genius, "references that complex" what did he refer that were so complex.

Isayama is a really good writer but the best fiction writer please what about H.G. Wells, Douglas Adams, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov also Haruki Murakami.

Also it doesn't matter if a writer is an architect or a gardener, the only thing that matters is if the end product is good or bad.

Also could you explain how you decided that the world building is better than all animes out there

Thanks, I'll check it out. If it's half as complex as this It'd be awesome. How do I find it?

Great but not as ambitious so they don't even qualify to the same league in terms of complexity.
We're talking about a 139-chapter work of fantasy with such a wide array of characters each with a major role and own impact on the plot.

Isayama is great but you don't need to look far away to find someone with a better story and plot, just look Muv Luv it is the biggest inspiration for AOT (Isayama literally said it on many interviews ).

Uhh, that's not an easy question.

I guess you heard about Steins;Gate, since basically it is the only existing VN which has a good anime adaptation, and it is also an anime with a very high rating here on MAL.

Steins;Gate is a part of a larger interconnected visual novel series called Science Adventure series (SciADV in short). It is very similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the way how the different titles with different casts built upon each other. Chäos;Child is the fourth main entry in the series, so if you really want to read it, it advised to read the fist 3 entry too, which are Chäos;Head, Steins;Gate and Robotics;Notes. Chäos;Head is the most important one for Chäos;Child.

If you are interested in the entire Science Adventure universe, then the read order of the most important titles is the following (with official ways to purchase them + improvement patches)
- Chaos;Head (purchase guide + english patch)
- Steins;Gate (steam + improvement patch)
- Robotics;Notes (steam + improvement patch)
- Chaos;Child (steam + improvement patch)
- Steins;Gate 0 (steam + improvement patch)
- Robotics;Notes DaSH (steam + improvement patch)

Where Steins;Gate 0 and Robotics;Notes DaSH aren't main entries in the series, they are just important additional materials to Steins;Gate and Robotics;Notes.

Currently there are 2 more main entries in development: Anonymous;Code, which will release this year, and the currently untitled Steins;???, which will be the thematic sequel to Steins;Gate, as Chäos;Child was for Chäos;Head.

Thanks for the detailed response, can I start with the SG anime to see if I like it or is it too different from the VN? :D

Do you really think they're amazing?

I don't think they're as bad as most people say, but I wouldn't say it's anything more than a 6 or 5 out of ten at beast

there are a lot of asspulls and things that need explanation, and the things that need explanation don't get enough time compared to the worst aspect of the arc that gets plenty of time as most characters seem blander and blander at each chapter, save a few exceptions

Ideally you should read the VNs first and in the order i provided. But it is fine to watch Steins;Gate first. My (and most people) first experience with the franchise is the Steins;Gate anime. Steins;Gate anime is a really good adaptation and it is faithful to the VN as it is possible, and it grasps the atmosphere pretty well. On the other hand, they still cut a lot of content out of it, mostly the parts which are connecting Steins;Gate into SciADV. So the anime works as a standalone TV series, but it doesn't work as the replacement of the VN in SciADV :D But keep in mind that these titles are pretty different from each other in atmosphere and in certain themes. Of course, there are similarities, like the conspiracies as a general theme, since they are a series, but still, they are pretty different. Each of them deals with a diferent scientific elements for example. And the atmosphere is also different. Chäos;Head is a psychological horror, Steins;Gate is a psychological thriller, Robotics;Notes is a slice of life based mystery, Chäos;Child is a psychologival murder mystery.

So even if you like Steins;Gate, it is not necessarily a good indicator that you will like the rest.

The only thing you should keep in mind that never ever watch C;H, R;N, C;C anime adaptations because they are terrible. They are rushed and deviating too much from the original stories.

His work is a mashup so he'd be more of a salad chef or a bartender mixing cocktails.

They're what made SNK surpass HxH and Berserk as I thought it was the best run. Such a great story, as most people have said, this is by far SNK's best arc.

Isayama is a great architect.

He lay a good foundation for the story to develop.

Let's just hope it withstand from the rumbling.
