I think that video not a good introduction for new fans, because of the information overload.

Newcomers don't need to know the differnce between the main universe (Stay night/Zero) and spin off universe X. And some of the differences can't be explained without spoilers.

The info that all the other Fate (Apocrypha, Grand Order etc) are parallel worlds/ alternate universes should be enough.

He also talks about a lot of spoilers, like Angra Mainyu, thats like making a beginner guide to Harry Potter and you start talking about Horcruxes.

The easiest guide in my eyes is:

Watch the main universe (Stay night->Zero), watch anything else you like.

I think you are giving too little credit to those guys.

This is like your opinion. When you learn about those differences navigating the franchise becomes way easier.

The straw-man argument of "If you approach this in any other way than mine, you will get spoiled biiig time! Like they will pointless to watch the thing."

This contradicts with your "Newcomers don't need to know the differnce".

As far as I know Harry Potter is total trash, spoiling it wouldn't change you experience to worst.

LOL, why so aggressive?
Sorry that I gave my opinion, I thought this club is to discuss watch orders.

I wish I get a doller everytime a newcomer sees this kind of chart and is completely confused because of all the entries and the "watchoder".

And how is this a contradiction? The knowledge that it is an alternate timeline and why it is a differnt timeline is not the same.
There are people that care for spoiler, like me.

I was also confused at first, because of all these giant timeline charts, but then I found a page that explained how Fate works and were to start in a few sentences, that helped me more than a 30 min video that is titled "Badly Explaining the ENTIRE Fate Series in 30 MINUTES".

I try to force nothing, I said "in my eyes", with means it is just my OPINION.
Sorry that I am trying to HELP people in a watchorder club, how dare I.

And I never read the VN (not LN btw) I am anime only.

I base Stay night->Zero on release order and what both authors of Stay night and Zero recommend.

This guide recommends the exact same order, but I am a purist when I say this because???

No, you are not sorry.

Since the video above contradicts with what the club is telling, me posting it doesn't count as club activity.

Wut? People know what alternate timeline is, usually the ask "But why?".

So it depends what you call spoiler. Personally I prefer having some basic info about the setting before starting a show...especially if it supposed to fit into a bigger franchise.

It wasn't mean to be informational video...none Ggigguk videos are.
My attempt at joke here is that everybody remembers his first video where he jokes that Fate is unexplainable and nobody checks his later videos on the topic.

Those people will come here mainly to check the first post and will ignore the rest of the thread.

Cause it's fun to mess with people who take it as the only right way.

Maybe you asked "why", but like i said there are many that care for spoilers. I personally and some friends of me like to figure stuff out for ourself.
If you like some basic info thats fine, but not everyone thinks that way.

I didn't saw it as a joke, I got that wrong, but I already met many people online that fail to see Gigguks videos as parodie and take them serious.

There are some that read all of it, like me.

Did I say it is the only way? Don't put words in my mouth. You can watch any show however you like, nobody forces you.
But Ithink the way, that even the authors themselves recomend, is the easiest way to explain it.

As someone who's seen a lot of Fate, I wholeheartedly disagree with watching Zero after Night and Feel. Zero has to be the starting point of your Fate journey. It doesn't matter where you go after that, but Fate/Zero is absolutely what should set the tone for your perception, enjoyment and expectation of Fate.
