Do you have a preference in character appearance/design?
| I tend to like the adorable ones, whether it be male or female. But then you stuck Rider in that list as sexy, and she's one of my absolute favorites of all time. So I'm just going to say it depends on the show and the characters. |

| i feel like a better discussion would be on one's preference or bias towards specific traits in anime characters. i do tend to favor characters with certain similar characteristics, but i don't think i could group them in any of those four categories. in relation to the topic, pretty<handsome - most of the time, and cute<sexy - most of the time. |

| Voted for pretty/cute females. Although, my definition of cute is very different than what I'm seeing around here. Cute and Sexy are usually one in the same for me, but I prefer girls in rl and anime that can look nice while showing decency and class, at least in public. |
| Eh, I don't really want to choose between pretty and handsome...I prefer males who are a bit more in-between, who aren't blatantly masculine or overly feminine. As for sexy vs cute, I'd pick cute...not because I'm into loli, but because my concept of beauty is not sexiness...I simply prefer 'beautiful' over 'sexy' (yes, my personal definitions for both are different). In short, my definition of beauty is not 'busty and seductive'. |

| hmmm....well my favorite character list's a mixed bag, but among the females sexy outnumber the cute (only I cute, Luka from yugioh 5ds). Most of the males fall under the "handsome category". I'd classify Lua (yugioh 5ds) as cute but there's no male option.... also Noa Kaiba (yugioh) is not exactly cute either..... As for Rau le Creuset (gundam seed)...is he handsome? I loved him because of his personality and dialogue. |
