Laughing or watching something that might be considered sexist not makes you sexist. I love boobs. I love boucing boobs but that doesn't mean I go around touching peoples boobs.

It's entertainment which serves the purpose of... enterntain. Some are more toward female, some male, some to young some to old.

My belief Of calling something that entertains seixst, or whatever you wanna call it (xenophobe or something like that) to be it's rather dumb because you have the possiblity of not watch it.

Nowadays snowflake sjw crap exists and it's crippling society. There is no guideline to the trigger warning and everything can be a trigger which by itself it's stupid.

And stoping people talking it's not that they are not thinking. Now they think but don't say and therefore you don't know what are his honest opinions.

Imagine this... A guy says he hates black people and it's a medic. Therefore the black people might be inclined to NOT go to his office because they might be afraid he mistreats him/her. But if that same guy never says he hates black people - ... you get it?

People got freedom of speech, everyone (well most countries) and if we start saying what we can say or not - then we might be in trouble in that departament because who decides? goverment? You,? me?

Japanese people and Anime itself might be considered sexist because they are make, mainly towards males. So what? Get over it. It's not going to exchange unless it's netflix or some other crap ordering it.

Btw, did you know most males in japan by 20 didn't have any sex? did you know they have one of the lowest sex crimes ratio in the world? having eromanga sensei or other loli cartoon doesn't automaticaly make you a pedophile or turn into one. :)

ANd to conclude.. last season we had Goblin Slayer. This one the main focus of criticism is Rising of Shield Hero beause of the rape stuff - people backlash but didn't check that the writer is a female :) as the artist. cool no?

SJW and other forms of ISM are just plainly wrong. BUT as I am person who loves free speech - speak away all because I choose to ignore you.

(BTW this is not towards you OP but in general... I read to much SJW, feminism, criticsism of moral values here on MAL and I am getting sick of it).

Yeah I agree, there are definitely differing layers of intensity when describing discrimination, and sexism is certainly not as severe as something like misogyny or misandry, but the point still stands; I still think that it's a stretch to call everyone who makes jokes about traps/women sexist.

Also, I am not saying all trap fans are like that, I am just talking about those who do this kind of stuff.

I'll agree that those comments are rude, but I don't think they, or the users who say them are big enough of issue to make a thread over.
