| Ah, I'm still watching but I ended up spotting this thread today. Wasn't exactly surprised but my brain hadn't gone down the trap route. I just thought this was another leap of logic taken for Plot Purposes, with her using Boku to be "cute". The subs I'm watching aren't exactly topnotch so all those instances where people refer to Astolfo as "he" didn't really register. I'm playing the whole show by ear. I mean, the original Fate games were basically fanservice eroges with King Arthur Pendragon of all people getting R63'd to become Saber. And let's not even go into the logic of Mordred looking how he looks, declaring himself a man, having Morgan Le Fay of the generous bosom as a mother & the same 63'd Saber being shown as the father... Methinks I hear them church bells ringing in that hooped skirt. Either that, or Le Fay's batshit cray cray. "Abandon logic, all ye who enter here" should have been the motto the minute any of y'all decided to watch the Fate series. |
