If a man has testicular or groin injury, then he would be able to explain that to transit officers. I am skeptical that is actually possible without the assistance of photo shop to be packing a bazooka so big in your pants that you need to spread your legs wider than the width of your seat or suffer discomfort.

See that's why you're retarded. A man who's already in pain has to waste his time on a fake police officer and talk about private health issues. You know health is labelled "Secret" and only the RELEVANT doctors ought to know what's wrong with you so they can assist you?
You can volunteer and tell people about your problems but in the case with the transit officer you're forced to, because if you don't - you'll find yourself wasting more time and getting more undeserved headache.
Maybe he's ashamed of admitting his problem? Or values his medical privacy? Maybe he's willing to speak but he's in a hurry and the officer is holding him off? Fuck the guy in that case right?

As for "sceptical..." as a male I can tell you that it is possible. It's not as common as the first issue but it isn't too rare.

This is not about giving men a hard time. The rules are there for a reason and if he wants an exemption, he should be at least prepared to say he has an injury or medical condition. I don't see you saying the woman in the OP photo might have hemorrhoids so everyone, including transit officers should leave her alone rather than embarrass her by expecting her to explain why she is taking more than one seat. I have no problem with women being arrested for putting bags on seats instead of letting other passengers sit down. I consider getting arrested extreme (usually it is just a fine or getting kicked off for inconveniencing other passengers over here) but if that is the standard, than that is how it should be applied whether it is for not moving your bags or having your legs so wide that you take up more than one chair.

My search history is now pretty interesting and my expression is now fairly close to this (ノ゚ο゚)ノ
I will concede that it is possible to have a ridiculously big penis however it seems only 1% of guys have a penis over 8 inches erect, meaning they would be smaller while flaccid (it is fairly difficult to actually find a reputable source on this). If manspreading is such a big problem that they need to put posters about it, I will amend my skepticism to say I doubt it is because of an overload of monster penises. He can just say he has a medical condition too.

This is the problem with you feminists. You're hypocrites and you don't want to acknowledge when men are being discriminated against. If this law was called womanspreading and discriminating against only women who took up too much space on the subway and and women were arrested because of this, you would not tell me to go sign a fucking petition to "change the language". This shit doesn't even happen to women nowadays, it's only socially acceptable when it happens to men. Men don't have the state behind them to enforce these kind of BS laws. Feminists have power over the government and they use it to put men in jail and ruin their lives over stupid BS like spreading your legs too far on the subway and disagreeing with people on twitter.

Sexist posters, ads etc do get put up and you know what happens? Women complain to the relevant organisations, start petitions etc and if enough people are upset, it gets removed. That is how you achieve change. If I was a hypocrite, I would only extend the privilege of being offended and pushing for change to females only. However expecting change without lifting a finger is just whining.

Get as far away from her as possible because she's probably deranged.

Seriously, who the fuck does that?

Choice A. So far I haven't been refused when I politely ask for a seat in public transportation.

If she turns out to not want to I'm not going to waste my breath, I'll just stand.

Again no one is supposed to know your medical conditions and history. Not even the court of law, unless you've committed some serious crime that requires your files to be reviewed and they only do it to see if you're sane or had a motive somehow related to it. It's only so they judge the suspect fairly.
Train police can be sued for formally requesting that info.
And no one "should be prepared to share his medical conditions" it's secret for a reason.
.

By "prepared to offer information", the person in question can choose to volunteer the information why they are taking up more than one seat, the transit officer understands and that is the end of the matter.

However they can also exercise their rights, keep their condition a secret and be arrested instead for inconveniencing other passengers. If you don't offer an explanation, the arrest is not unreasonable.

They can also continue to exercise their rights in court and not give a reason for taking up seats. However once again, if they don't let the judge know of the extenuating medical reasons, the judge will have to give them whatever sentence is prescribed for unnecessarily taking up multiple seats. This is not the judges fault.

I am not overly sympathetic to the inconvenience caused by the second two options as they chose that inconvenience (which they have every right to do).

If I'm truly tired, I wouldn't care her at all. (D)

But if I truly need a seat, I will politely ask her (A) , and they will be people appreciating my effort.

F) Take a photo and post it everywhere on the internet and make her famous to show my appreciation for her douchebag-gery~

But for real, if I see this and see people standing around, I'll probably ask her to sit properly and give some space for other people. If there were loads of seats available, I'll leave her alone while inwardly feeling amazed that she's actually doing something like that. lol

Wait for a moment where doors are just about to close to depart from the station, and at last moment grab her shoes and leave the train. Get rid of shoes and curse at central line because next train to Ealing Broadway be like 7 minutes lol
