| Well if anime went 60 fps, a big part of making an anime would change. Can't use so many still frames. People thinking that motion interpolation can do the trick do not see how messy it becomes. Almost makes me wonder how they can really enjoy 60 fps. |

I can usually recognize when a scene is animated "on the ones" like this sequence from Sakamichi no Apollon: So is this sequence from the Uchuu Kyoudai OVA, Apo's Dream:  I also think the well-known fighting sequence in episode three of Seirei no Moribito is mostly animated on the ones. But these are rare examples. |
