| Almost 99% of the time I can keep up. The only reason I wouldn't be able to keep up is if the translation is really poor English. But that's only happened once. |

| Most of the time I have absolutely no problem with subs. The only time I did was with Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, because it had whole paragraphs up on the screen at a time, and I was still able to deal with it. |

| I don't mind subs, infact even when i rent a western film, I will throw on subtitles regardless of being able to understand them for those movies where the characters mutter a lot or talk really slurred. |
| Yes most of the time :D At first it was little hard since my english skills weren't the best possible but nowadays I have no problem with it. Actually my english got much better after I started to watch anime XD |

| I can keep up with them most of the time. The only one that I had mild trouble with is "Rurouni Kenshin", but that is because of the way Kenshin speaks and not speed. (kind of like Yoda from Starwars during his monologues, but you can still understand it) |

| Recently, when I download episodes that have built-in-subtitles, the are a few moments where they appear for a second. But that doesn't really qualify. I watch dub when it's the first one I find, when it isn't dubbed, I watch it sub. Normally I just quickly glace at the subtitles and speed read, although this can some times lead to me screwing up the comprehension and I have to go back and re-read it. Though I do prefer dub most of the time, subs can be equally as good. |

| I have no problems keeping up with subs as long as I'm not overly distracted by something else. I'm a fast reader and I understand enough Japanese to not have to pay close attention to what the subs are saying to get the message. |

| I'm a slow reader, like REALLY slow(yet for some reason I love to read novels, though it might take a few weeks to finish one....). I can usually keep up with subs but my eyes almost never leave the bottom of the screen.....so I'll have watch an episode a couple times, if it has a lot of dialog, in order to see what was going on in the background while I was reading. As you might have guess I prefer dubs for obvious reasons. |

| First I preferred dubbed ones, too, but now I got used to subs and really prefer them over dubs because I think it's nice to hear the japanese and often you can learn new terms, too^^ catching up with the subs is actually no problem, I only stop sometimes when the subbers give an extra note. | The only time I can't keep up is when I get distracted (which dub wouldn't help for, anyway; I'd just miss hearing it instead of reading it), or when there are extra notes to explain things at the top. So, it's not really a problem. |

| No, and thats why I hate subs. I'm also a slow reader and thats why I avoid anime with subs. Dubs are better for me. I can't sit in my cheer while watching anime cuz after x episodes my back starts to hurt. I relax in my bed while watching dubbed anime. |

| Well, almost everything gets subbed in Sweden. I can keep up very much. But sometimes the subs can be retarded and may not be the same as the audio etc... Translatorfaults and so on When I streamed Hadashi no Gen the subtitles where really retarded XD |

| Actually I usually read them with enough time to spare. Its usually around 2 second before it switches over to the new subtitles when I'm done |
