| I'm having an issue on my end, probably my own fault somehow but when I launch MAL Updater, it appears on my taskbar and on my background processes when I check task manager but the app never actually appears. Any clue on this? It's the only app that does this. I'm on Windows 8.1 and have the 2.97 version of MAL Updater. Have tried multiple times reinstalling and restarting my computer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. edit: I just noticed that every time I try to start it it also tells me I'm getting error 303. Hope that clarifies things. |

| I never mentioned this til now, but when I sort my PtW list by "Season," it doesn't do it really well...only by its numerical year and not by its actual ordered season along with the year. |

| I'm using windows 10 64-bit, Avast antivirus. I'm getting errors 303, 429, invalid credentials, can't find anime on "add anime to your list"... It did, however, update my watching list after a few minutes once I had changed it on the website directly. I've disabled antivirus for a few minutes and allowed the program to go through firewall, but it didn't help. Hope a solution gets found quickly. |

If you're not sure, you can post a screen shot of it with the whole widened window so that all raw values are visible. 2) replace one or both RAM dims to see whether it helps and/or let Memtest86+ run a few full passes overnight. If there are errors/red lines during testing, make sure you test every dim one at a time at every memory slot. Which Windows version are you using? |
| Freeze issue is like 99% chance to be some crappy antivirus blocking it, worst offenders being AVG, Avast, Mcafee, Norton, BitDefender. |

| Since yesterday my MALupdater 2.97 keeps freezing at startup, 2.96 doesn't freeze but freezes as soon I want to update or connect to MAL. MAL 3.0a connects but doesn't work at all. I am using Windows 7 and at first it didn't load anything, torrent plugin + malupdater were just blank and not reacting. After uninstalling and reinstalling it keeps freezing at the startup logo. Maybe someone has a good solution because some people are having the same issue? Edit: It seems to be a problem with something cached but deleting the cached file from the roaming folder didn't change anything for me. Version 2.96 Version 2.97 I will keep it updated if I find a solution. Edit: Alright after searching for the specific cached file for a long time I finally gave up and installed ccleaner as mentioned before in thread. It works after the cleanup /confirmed. |

| Not really sure if this counts as a bug, but I did not want to make a new thread for this... I recently switched from using MPC-BE + KCP to using Daum Potplayer. (I found an extensive setup guide that proved to result in superior quality to me) I changed the player under anime recognition to 18# PotPlayer (korean). (also removed mpc, so there is only one player in the list) Now the issue I'm having is that whenever I play an episode using potplayer, the file is no longer automatically renamed and moved to the correct folder I set for that anime (using the file processing plugin). However, the anime recognition feature does work with it. It recognises the anime I'm playing and it also updates the number of the episode I've seen, just doesn't move it afterwards... My current solution is just playing every episode with mpc for a few seconds, then closing it, or moving to another episode until I've successfully moved all episodes, and THEN I watch the episodes with potplayer... (also, in case it's relevant, I'm using windows 10 and latest malu v2.97) First world problem I guess, but would be nice to have a fix for this. Thank you, though, for an otherwise amazing tool. <3 |
