| Ugh, I never meant to do this one, but inspiration struck me and then...well, you know, I went with the flow. I'm glad I did though, since it turned out to be a lot better in the end than it first seemed. Optimal and max. supported resolution: 1920x1200  Now I'll consciously try to stay away from pumping out new list designs until I get struck by a great enough inspiration that'll surpass my current animelist design. @Sasu-neko: Your list looks fine at it's intended resolution. Very clean and readable. I don't think you should (yet) stress much about how your list looks on other people's screens. After all it is you who will spend the most time looking at your list. One thing you could do though, is to change the background color outside the picture to black. The tutorials on how to add header pictures were posted just a few posts before yours. Check at the end of post #3524. |

A nice job overall, but if I had to point out something that could be improved, it would be the main header. It has a 3D-effect on it while the rest of the list feels more "flat". It stands out to me a bit as it is. Just my opinion. Also, if you want to take people with larger resolutions into consideration, the simplest thing to do would be to change the background color (outside the wallpaper) to light brownish or some other matching color. |

Background picture take time to load since they are mostly big and sometimes image host's server is to overloaded so they don't load instantly like some other pictures. |

| That's how it looks on 1680x1050 : Nice idea I must say! Though, the fact that the copyrights are on Haruhi and that some parts of the list stick out at the bottom and at the right is a bit of a shame :/ I guess it's because of the resolution, but I hope you'll be able to fix it :D |

| @Sephor- nice list... the cursors are awesome. The only thing I would do is maybe add some blending to your renders and "currently watching, ect." headers, so when viewed on the list they don't look just pasted on there. Probably shadowing would be the best option. |

| So, I just went and did it again. Not once, but twice. I made two (2) list designs despite using pretty decent ones for both of my lists already. I wonder what I'm supposed to do with all these excess ones that just keep getting made. Rant over. Here's the second one I made after an inspiration struck me out of the blue while making the first one. This is the one I'll be using for the time being. I don't know if there's such a concept as "Sunflower overload." If there is, I think this one might be pretty close to it. Optimal resolution 1920x1200. This time I might be pushing it, since 1280x1024 is the minimum resolution I'd recommend for the best experience. Anything smaller vertically and all you see will be the sunflowers. Try zooming out or using full screen mode if that happens - or just enjoy the sunflowers and move on.  -- Also, I finished this one first, but in the end wasn't happy enough with it. I felt like there was something missing. I'll probably tinker around with it a bit more and put it to use either after I re-watch Haibane Renmei or get sick of the sunflowers. You'll have to deal with a 1920x1200 sized sneak peek for now, since I've no room to showcase it. It might be a chance for you to see how it's supposed to look like at 1920x1200 (sort of) if you otherwise couldn't.  |
| @Spawwvy- Lists look great. So digging the overlay for the sunflowers, a very nice creative touch. I've actually got a great idea for your background image in your Haibane Renmei list. If it's possible to have a sliced wallpaper, I was thinking of making the Halo a glowing animation. If you need help with the animation, I wouldn't mind giving a hand. Something to think about ;) |

| I've tweaked the sunflowers so that they scale with window size (using the method discovered indirectly thanks to spineslayer, see below) and there should be more sky visible in the background at lower resolutions. I also found out that apparently at least Opera and Firefox round numbers in a different way, which caused the seam to show. Had to play around with decimals a bit to (hopefully) fix it. Didn't bother to check other browsers that extensively, since it's been a hassle enough as it is, and the 1px seam didn't seem to be that visible always. Heck, even my 3 year old laptop has a 1680x1050 15,4" screen, but that's probably just me and my opinion that monitors/displays are something that should be invested in. @spineslayer: At first I was going to tell you that it isn't possible, but then I did some experiments and was proven wrong. I don't think spliced wallpapers are possible in that sense, but it is possible to fixate the .gif over the halo neatly kinda like the sunflowers. That would have required the wallpaper to be fixated in one place - with my previous knowledge, that is. But! I just discovered a way to make an image scale it's position so that it keeps itself perfectly in line with the wallpaper at all times, even if the wallpaper's position depends on the window size. I'll try animating the halo first by myself, but I certainly wouldn't mind a few tips. :) Thank you for giving me inspiration! It'll take me some time to get on to it, since now I'll really have to quit mass-producing these things for a while. A partially animated wallpaper will be the next step, though. @kuroshiroi: Thank you for your compliments! Unfortunately I didn't render it myself. It's taken from the visual novel my list draws its inspiration from. |

| @kyrori: Definitely an awesome wallpaper. I would change the color on the top bar to a solid black though, or maybe black with a little transparency and a blue/white border on the bottom; the current one is distracting from the list. |
