the ending left me on a cliff hanging situation im craving for more truly an underrated masterpeice gratefull for being able to see an anime like this

| I feel a bit disappointed at having seen 170 episodes and not only not having an ending, but being left with a cliffhanger of sorts. Strange after we got that weird filler training arc that spanned like 30 episodes. But at least we got a backstory for Asta. |

| Well, I finished this series in 2 months, (only skiped like 25 episodes of filler), it was quite the ride, but also never managed to soar to peak greatness IMO, even if it was really close (Mage king vs (not the real) Elf king and Asta-Yami duo in the last fight) |

| We get to see Liebe's past and Asta's mom Licita. Liebe didn't have mana either, just like Asta. But later on, he got anti-magic. I think Licita's magic is similar to Henry, but just more powerful and instant. So Lucifero is the highest ranked, and that devil is hosting Dante. He tried to take Liebe, but Licita's magic saved him. Liebe is sure that Asta is Licita's son. Instead of doing Devil Binding Ritual, they became friends and equal partners. Nacht thinks Asta is both idiotic and good-hearted. He smiles at Asta so warmly. 2 more days before they launch the attack. Elsewhere Noelle and others are going to train with the elves. Yuno will spar with Langris. Our other Black Bulls members will surpass their limits too, for Yami. Nice finale. Next season is already announced. Excited. |

The Conrad family was framed and executed decade ago, and all the royalists responsible are still alive and thriving—it’s not ancient history. The kingdom remains rotten to its core. So how is it that so many good Magic Knights hold positions of authority and influence, yet they still follow corrupt nobles and allow their crimes to go unpunished? It honestly feels like the writer doesn’t fully understand what he’s trying to portray. The story just drifts forward with little consideration for coherent world-building or the consequences of past events. |
