| @Nim : I guess you could just play with padding-top a bit to move your Grand Totals :) Also, it's a matter of taste, but I'd make the lignes of your background either transparent a bit or less bright. It's a bit tiring to watch after a while (for me at least). And I personnally prefer when there's some sort of change, even the slightest one, when you hover the animes. But then again that's just me :D |

| Cool Anime list! The only thing I see is that maybe the category totals are too close from the animes. Not too fond or your manga list however. I don't really like the color harmony of purple/green/light brown, but maybe that's just me :) |

| @canephalanx- I like it. The only thing I would consider fixing is the background because on higher resolutions the image isn't big enough and leaves a white strip on the left side. Here is a tutorial that can help you out with that. |

| @Mada It's cute. :) You might want to adjust / add a padding for the right side of your list, since it's hugging the right edge of the window. (at least on my computer :P) And maybe change the orange background of the headers to transparency, since there's orange as the background color already (I think? :P). When I scroll to the right (since I have a smaller screen size, 1024 x 768 px) the orange behind the list headers covers up part of the guy in the background. And then you see a random bit of the guy through the padding between the headers/etc. O___o ~ don't forget to save the files as PNG or GIF (PNG is much better though) so the transparency gets saved too. XP I love the bright colors and cute font. :3 What font is it, btw? |

| Did mine a while ago (anime and manga list), and still thinking about the backgrounds... Since I dislike fixed ones, I don't know should I go with patterns or make it with brushes. And still thinking about should I remove the brush layer background from the header titles... All suggestions are more than welcomed ^^ @IceWarrior117 - I like it, only you need to add the background for the lists and it'll be fine. |

D: Thanx, I'm glad you like it ^^ Yeah, that's what's bothering me about those brushes, they are barely visible, that's why I want to change the background, but I have no idea left. Should I just darken them, or use a simple brush? Hah... @ DwChan - It's kind of hard to read the list, because of the color. Why don't you try making a background for the list, instead of transparency and white borders? Though I like the hover color, it's easier for managing. And if you already have borders and hover color, underlining the font is unnecessary ^^ But the background pic is really cute. |

| Hey guys. Ok i decided to make something nice of my list's but the problem is i suck at this things and my CSS knowledge is close to shit. After a lot of trouble and errors i managed to get my manga list to this point. http://myanimelist.net/mangalist/Monad. Now i don't know how but i managed the "chapters" and "volumes" to have a different color when i am viewing the "completed" section. And i don't want that. Also i would like to make the scores look the same color as the "Type". You would have noticed that the word manga is not that blue color, and that's the color i want for the score numbers. How can i manage that? Can anyone help me? |

| Ok i can say i generally finished my lists even though my little problem above remains and there are a few others things i would like to do. So now am wondering how to they look-like in different computers and there screens. I tried to find a compromise so they won't look awful no mater the screen, Anyway. Not very sure what you meant by the problems with your mangalist. You are right. I will have to change the pic a little but it would probably be better this way. I also put different images for each choice (dropped, completed and so on). About my manga list problem see a few post above i posted there. Thanks a lot for the input. By the way i saw your list, i love how you made that dragons leg look like it's in-frond of the list. And you even managed to put Robin's mini-pic in the bar above. That's exactly what i did. But my cursor appears only in the left sight of the screen were my list is. When i move him to the right in becomes a normal mouse cursor again. That's why am confused. Normally what you said should work. But it isn't. I guess someone with good CSS knowledge has to check the code and find what stops it from working perfectly. |

Play around with some glow or shadowing so the text and pictures don't look just pasted on. | Could someone with a huge-ass monitor tell me if my anime list looks ok when you view it? My screen is 1440 x 900. I only could see the list on mine and an even smaller one. I know about that one tutorial, but I would rather just ask anyway. I'm new to CSS, so this will also help me with my future designs. If the list looks like shit on your screen, I would appreciate a screenshot, so it would be easier to correct it. |
