| Crying Freeman. I have to say it left me confused because it seems like the shittiness is absolutely intentional and at other times the plot is dead serious. Anyway, even on that comically bad level I didn't enjoy reading it, guess all bets are off when that fat whale of a sister starts prancing around naked, shit it's hard to find someone in this that doesn't get naked. Quite a silly manga. |

| Pluto, extremely well written, without plot-holes (a rare feature in manga\anime). The charadesign might not be for everyone, but give it a try it will be worthwhile. |
| Animal X - Aragami no Ichizoku | Which was really strange and weird but awesome at the same time. It's shoujo along the sames lines as Bananafish (kind of hard-boiled) but more sci-fi-ish. Swallowing the Earth | From Osamu Tezuka. Not his best work but it was an interesting piece to see the early period where he began to do more series and dark work. Which is why this was such a mixed bag, it was really cartoony in places but had a lot of adult themes. I do think of the individual chapters stand out on their own though as interesting pieces. |
