| Hi everyone :) I’m pretty new to MAL. Haven’t been much on the MAL until recently. X) I’m pretty shy… even though most people who sees me wouldn’t see me as shy because I always try to be outgoing and cheerful… but because I AM shy I’ve been a little afraid of participating in the forums lol… BUT! Here I am then!;D I’m 18 years old. I study language and love to talk other languages. I play the guitar, love music, listen to it every day. I listen to all kinds of music but mostly rock, indie, pop and classic. I love to read books a lot too … mostly fiction :)… and I like to read something deep, something that can make me cry, wiser, laugh or just as simply as to move me or question me and to make me wonder… and I watch a lot of detective series.;D Like CSI, Barnaby, Sherlock Holmes and MANY MANY OTHERS xD!!! ;D And I always try my best to figure out the murderer and the story behind the scene before the end O.O It's one of my favorite hobbies!xP I like to socialize, be with my close friends and family, and to help people around me. I have always been very interested in human behavior. It’s just interesting to see like how humans can develop, how they deal with things and that kind of stuff right!?xP… AND of course I’m deeply in love with anime!! <3.<3 xD My friends think that I’m amusing, imaginative, crazy, intelligent (don't know where they got that idea from O.o :P), “deeeep”xP, helpful…loyal …harry potter-otaku!?xP hehe;D………………….and well………….YEAH!?:D LOLxD (runs off to the garden to dick a whole for herself to get buried in of awkwardness!xP) I love to act freely, not caring about what other’s might think of you and I think one should always stand up for what’s right even though it might hurt oneself. | Welcome Dostojevskij! There's nothing to be afraid of here. We're all very nice people here (well, for the most part) :3. You have some pretty interesting hobbies there. | o hai. i just joined MAL about a month ago... i had always heard about it, but never really felt inclined to join until recently when friends started pushing it on me. i just recently became involved in the whole club thing, so far i rather enjoy it... so i figured it would probably be in my best interest to join this one. umm.... i'm 22, from Richmond, Virginia... i'm rather boring, i'd say... at least in forum posts. i'll definitely check out the irc at some point soon, as i tend to be more lively in there than i am on boards. i suppose that's it for now... if you want to talk or whatever... feel free to leave me a message. kthxbai |

| well I'm not new to MAL but am new to this club, so I'll introduce myself anyway, I apologize in advance for any grammar/spelling mistakes..; I'm 23-years-old from Israel. My favorite types of anime are the most edgy and innovative ones, I'd even say dark and slightly insane. as long as there's something behind/beyond it because I usually prefer anime with some intellectual depth. Unless there are great fights, even if the show is dumb and shallow, if there are awesome battle scenes than I'm sold ^^ errr my other hobbies are nothing out of the ordinary; TV, books, music, video-games, pubs, food, yes food is a hobby.. and I also like to exercise so it balances out! I study mathematics in a city nearby, and have a part-time job as a gardener. This leaves me with little free time, which I usually devote to watching some anime. :) In my friends circle we're about two and a half people that have an interest in anime, and none of them is near my "level", so I come to MAL for most of my anime discussion needs. So if you enjoy something "dark" and " with intellectual depth" I'd recommend you to watch Serial Experiments Lain and also Monster. Don't know if you'll like it, but both of them rank among my favorites. Lain has one of the most innovative scripts/plots I've ever seen. :3 |

| Hi, I'm Ookami-Tora which means Wolf-Tiger (or tiger-wolf) in Japanese... My parents were anime fans long before I was born so instead of growing up with normal kid shows I actually grew up with anime, lol. I started reading manga a few years ago... I dunno where I was the first few years of my life but oh well. o.O Anyway... My favorite music is normally rock, metal and J-pop but there are always random songs from random genres that I randomly like... My hobbies normally consist of writing, music and drawing. I'm currently working on drawing my own manga-style story (though I'm not very far in the process) and I'm pretty excited to see how it turns out. | Hi everybody, I'm a MAL member of only two days and I must say that I'm loving the place! A little bit about myself; I'm an 18 year-old first year university student (if you're curious as to where, my location's on my profile =P). I just recently became serious about watching anime within the past few months, and I'm trying to catch up with the thousands of series out there during my free time. I am a new member here ^^ (well, maybe not that new as i just was lazy to post but i do hope that i can become more active in the club as well as in the remaining of the site, which has proved to be quite useful :p) Putting that aside, I am a 18 year old moroccan otaku that mainly speaks french and arabic, but my english should be high enough to be able to understand and reply (actually, most of my english has come from watching with eng subtitles lol) I hope that someday i can speak or at least understand japanese too !
