| I marathoned Fate Extra last year on my PSVita. Went Nero->Archer->Tamamo in that order, Hakunon for all three. Great experience with Tamamo since NG+ remembers enemy patterns. Also had fun dumping all the points to make Magic EX rank. |

The subtle characteristics Nasu gave to her makes her runs a bit more interesting and funny. Nice, OK I'll do that. Right now I don't feel Caster's shortcomings due to the visible patterns and my NG+ FW, but I'm sure this won't be the case in the actual Servant fights. |

| Look who decided to show up in the Extella artbook For those of you who haven't managed to spoil yourself on Extella's story and have the NP edition, I would recommend finishing the story before opening the Extra Materials book. It spoils pretty much everything. |

Those are my worse nightmares about receiving packages... And yes I do complain to the company about it. Very passionately and spitefully til they fire the one responsible. One less jackass doing this job the better. (til they replace him or her with another and the cycle repeats itself lol) Oh and I only had 2 hours sleep. Got up early for Nintendo's Fire Emblem direct. Took some protein shake and caffine supplements for work (12 hour shift) in 2 hours. Stayed up all night with my Emperor of Roses. Worth it. |

| Week 2 and week 4 DLC have some pretty good selections. But that Gil/Archer/Artoria DLC is wack. You have to pay to get less shitty looking face models and slightly more saturated clothing? |

| Just finished the main story of Fate/Extella. Can definitely say I had a blast playing through all of it. Nero in her bride outfit is pure glory. There's also a lot of screenshot-worthy moments in the game. MAJOR SPOILERS! Don't click unless you've completed Extella as well. |

And as expected, i hate playing with some servant. So far i tried with medusa, nero, nameless, casko and karna. Nero is balanced medusa is fun to play with (long chain of quick attack and insane NP) nameless normal combo is just decent. his mon crux is ok+ Karna is damn slow and not precise ... dont like to play with casko... look week, short chain of combo |

Casko arc feels like a downgrade from Nero so far which was super fun. Bit disappointed it was short. I really need to push through to get to Altera's story. At least they really build up interest to get to it. Gameplay is fun but gets old super fast. Sometimes you miss it but then get bored 5mins in and the cycle repeats itself lol. Change mode, while I'm sure you can pull of impressive feats with it so far to me is pretty pointless. I rather enjoy Extra gameplay a lot more in this regard. To each their own really. [Edit] I really really like Nero and Altera so far. The latter I haven't even begun her story as it's locked. This game actually made me pity and like Elizabeth. There is a lot of story but kinda difficult to enjoy with its convoluted structure as standard with most Nasu works. You eventually get the gist of it but require some rereading or good 'connecting the dot' skills. |

| I've only just got through Nero's story and a bit of Tamamo's, but I generally agree with what the two above have said. Gameplay gets pretty repetitive. The maps themselves don't feel as complex as other Musou games I've played. There are some pretty weird design decisions, too. There's this huge emphasis on taking down things called "Plants" which spawn troops that invade your sectors, but once one goes down, another spawns literally a moment later, so there ends up being no real point fighting them other than taking the territory they spawn on. Story Mode is the only way to unlock new characters but it suffers from the flaw that you can only play as the main waifu and their one main general. So basically 6 whole stages using two characters.This is why I haven't touched Extella for a couple of days. Tamamo and Karna are fucking boring to play as but they're the only characters you can use in Tamamo's route. As someone who likes Nero but doesn't waifu her, and as someone who doesn't really like Tamamo, the romantic dialogue is really annoying. And there is a lot of it. When you aren't talking about conquering shit, you're talking about wanting to bang your servant. And as someone who has a roommate that isn't really into anime, it gets really uncomfortable playing this game when all the waifu shit pops up. I mean I get that this is post-Extra, so you and your servant should be close, but bleh. My main Extra playthrough was the Archer route anyways. Story wise, there's some interesting concepts, but I feel the presentation is underwhelming. Most of the plot is just characters standing around talking in either your throne room or in My Room. The pacing also feels a bit off, so at one mission your team might be on the losing end, but by the next mission you are literally at the gates of your enemy. Honestly, I'm a bit underwhelmed by Extella right now. Like when I'm playing it, I feel like just playing Dynasty Warriors 8 instead because there is a lot more to do in that game outside of the story. I feel like if this game had an equivalent to Ambition Mode or Empire Mode, there would be a lot more replayability, but as it stands right now, I'm probably just going to just finish the main story and do a few side stories before forgetting about it for a while. |

| Finally I got my CE. I was expecting some damage to the box but it was fine, even had a "fragile" tape on it. Somehow the inside of the box was damaged the corners of what was holding the game and the book.....how in the hell?I dont care about that. Some things I noticed: Cu doesnt have Protection from Arrows. Li Shiwen dislikes TATARI. WTF?He knows it? Iskandar's talent is ad libbing in arguments. Makes sense to me. Black Highschool clothes Jeanne is adorable. Archimdes would totally hate TM fandom. Robin, in Tamamo's team, would try to steal Medusa's heart |
| I don't care about repetition if there's enough depth. How mash-y is the combat? Do you have unique combos and such or is it "press this button 85294258 times to win" kind of game? | Hard mode is challenging for a button smash game. Especially if you go in the stage below the req level. The real game would be Very Hard. |
