| Yes we feel horrible about Michiru dying, but I still hope that in next season Nana will help them escape or do something good. Then pay for her crimes afterwards, since she still killed innocent kids. Manipulated or not, murder is murder. |

| It wasn’t anything notably spectacular, but I was hoping for some sort of twist in the end (either Michiru turns out to be evil or male Nana turns out to be alive somehow and is hellbent on exacting revenge on Nana). Oh well, at least Nana was able to (hopefully) change for the better after witnessing that kind of tragedy… |

| That's it...? No way it ended on a cliffhanger like that LOL I've got some mixed feelings, but overall, I enjoyed this show! It definitely has its flaws, whether it's the animation and art looking a bit clunky at times or maybe the writing being a bit off, but even with that in mind, I still enjoyed this enough. I just wish there was another season, because I want to see where this story goes! This show aired 4 years ago, and as far as I know there hasn't been a new season announced. I guess this is it for the anime, but man I'm tempted to look into the manga. I think I'm going to give this show a 7. It's good, but not really worthy of an 8, especially ending on such a big cliffhanger and just sort of leaving you there with no way to continue the story besides reading the manga. If they had plans to do more, maybe I'd give it an 8 but idk man it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth to leave us hanging. I was also expecting a bit more from the last case. It ended up getting resolved pretty easily in this last episode |

| Damn Nana really slowly changed over the course of this season from trying to eliminate the students to being compelled to fight against the real killer. She saved Inukai from being killed as she was a genuine friend of hers, what a surprising end. Inukai saved Nana by sacrificing her entire life force to revive her, what a shock as well. The ending scene did not have to be that emotional but damn what a massive emotional bomb. Left high and dry on that cliff hanger!! |

| Having just watched this show after going through Madoka... This series started out very weird, but I quickly become fond of it. I love that every episode ended in a twist or exciting cliffhanger. I liked the Death Note aesthetic. I really hope this will get a Season 2 someday, because I absolutely need more!! Yeah, I can read the manga, but it's just not the same. |

| No dice. I like that they tried, but trying to develop Nana's character after all this time isn't really sticking. Nana just hasn't been an interesting or likable character, she was entertaining purely in terms of her elaborate murders and cover-ups. She's been basically a robot, a dull one at that, and at this point I don't particularly care about what her deal is. That "get outta here, I HATE you!" to save someone was ridiculously cliche. It's like I'm watching a corny direct-to-video family movie from the 90s with a dog in it. I could not believe what I was watching. This murder case turned out to be stupid, as usual. Yes, we all know that two of the dudes in the next room had the ability to stab someone while staying put. They literally told us, one of them could move metallic objects remotely and the other could leave his body behind. Were they expecting the viewer to have forgotten that or something? Why was it the astral projection guy, specifically? What makes him extra suspicious? There was no investigation, and Nana and Kyoya just knew the answer, somehow. There was a quick shot of Kyoya finding a girl's uniform splattered with blood, what was that all about? And I don't think they ever explained the motive, unless "I'm secretly crazy and I like cutting things" is a motive. That's a pretty lame motive in a mystery show. There was no real mystery, because the murderer left his body, went to the next room and slit the guy's throat, the end. The whole situation was somewhat contrived anyway. Sitting in a room and listening to a guy lecturing them for 5 hours straight?? And the show just... stops, with no resolution whatsoever. You gotta wrap things up on some level. I would not even call this a cliffhanger, because hanging from a cliff at least builds tension and anticipation. What happened to the murderer? What's Jin doing? What lesson did Nana learn? What's she going to do next? Who exactly is Kyoya? Wasn't there someone from the government on their way to the island? What on earth are all the adults doing? We don't know. Fight's over, Nana's back up, roll credits. Had a tiny bit of fun with the murder puzzles and mind games, but the show was flimsy, corny, dumb, and ultimately a waste of time. |
