Whaaaaat! LOL this is crazy.

The Clippers pulled a Clippers...but, in reverse..? Lol

LMAO, WHAT A COLLAPSE BY THE JAZZ. What a way for the Clippers to make their first conference final though.

Indeed.

Utah doesn't usually get much attention so they may not get as much flack for this but they just put on an all-time choke right there.

They might of topped even what the Clippers did last season, at the hand of those same Clippers, too, to boot.

Salt Lake City is now Choke Lake City. Damn lol

If we're including last year, the Jazz blew a 3-1 lead to the same Nuggets in the first round. Consecutive major chokes. Being a Jazz fan is pain... :|

look at the clippers man so inspirational.

They're going to have a hard time going up against a big man that can score in Ayton. Suns in 5 with CP, in 6 without, clippers in 7 with kawhi. Either way happy with sending whoever comes out of the West. Glad to see Clips balling POSTSEASON, and glad to see CP reliving his 2018 houston run in the Suns.

IDC about the East rn they acting weird.

My stance hasn't changed tho...the Clippers ARE a joke, they ALWAYS will be a joke.

Just because the Mavs and now the Jazz choked....that doesn't change anything.

And YES, they both absolutely choked, BOTH should've won those series.

That's on them.

The Jazz in particular not only choked but for fucks sake they had the most golden of chances! Kawhi got injured and these fuckers couldn't even protect a 25 point lead?!

I'll bet any amount of money that the Suns beat the Clippers....pretty easily actually.

Should be a sweep....5 games MAX!

And yeah.....I don't want Kawhi anymore.

ACL is the WORST injury you can get.

Dude will be out the entire year...sucks for him really....but ACLs are no joke.

Go ask Rose and Klay about ACLs.

You're being overdramatic lol. There's a big difference between a grade 1 and grade 3 ACL injury. The Clippers haven't said anything but according to their beat writers, it's a grade 1 sprain which means it's not torn.

Achilles tear is actually much worse than ACL. I don't know if they've gotten better at dealing with ACL injuries but players who's had it recently have come back fine. Zach Lavine has even gotten better. Klay will be fine.

Alex says a lot of stuff with no point lol. Weird Clipper hater.

Kawhi didn't even take the plane to Phoenix. I heard that the cabin pressure messes with injuries and stuff. Idk though. Not even a torn ACL he was walkin without a brace, so they probably want him to hit the ground running on game 3 onward.

Honestly the MVP of Clippers is Ty Lue. Exposing French Alex Len like that. Cutting the minutes of Zubats and spreading out the ball. Even in the Mav's series he exploited that weird ass zone and shit in game 7.

Huh? Your reading comprehension is as bad as your basketball observation.

The irony.

Squirtroll said:

Your solution was they should've attacked more. I said but they did attack and told you what they should have done. You disagreed lol. I showed you every possession in the 4th proving they attacked 15/18 times.

Well, I wrote it more to highlight how bad your basketball observations are, and your solution was the most vanilla shit ever. You can't just attack and bulldoze your way cause there's this thing called "offensive foul". You can't just expect them to end in the paint with a layup or dunk if you told them to attack, and there is a shotclock. Like they "settled" 5x out of those 18 possessions. Giannis settled 1x. I don't think you have any clue about who Khris is but he's not a slasher, his game is about shooting the midrange or 3s. In their game 6 win, all but one of his fg were jumpers but you probably think he settled not knowing that's what his game is all bout. It's like asking Kyle Korver to turn into a slasher and dunk on people. I can't believe I'm even explaining this lol.

Here's what you are not understanding. When I say that the Bucks settled I'm talking about how they weren't assertive. With the game on the line, they were hesitant and had no direction. I can't believe I'm even explaining this. You are literally just making things up and basing your arguments on your faulty assumptions.

Squirtroll said:

I bet you also think the Clippers settled against the Jazz because majority of their shots were jumpers and that they only have 18 FGM inside of 3ft.

See.

Who said shooting jumpers = settling?

You're the one with the bad reading comprehension skills.

EASILY Best game of the playoffs.

Congrats to the Bucks....I gotta admit, I am VERY surprised how they were able to come back in this series and win it the way they did.

And YES, I know people will say "Oh but Kyrie and Harden got injured, if Kyrie doesn't get injured, the Nets win!"

Well....maybe yes, maybe no....we'll never know.

Just like as a Heat fan I will never know if the Heat would've beat the Lakers if Bam and Dragic don't get injured in the Finals.

ALL sports are the same....It is better to be LUCKY than good.

And just how LUCK plays a part....so does MISFORTUNE.

The Nets certainly had misfortune losing two of their best players to injury......still they had their chance.

Overall...I thought the Nets were a great team....I DID NOT believe in them for the reasons I said previously, but they were still a great team when fully healthy.

For the Bucks....now is their chance to get REDEMPTION....we'll see if they can.

Holy shit what a game... Bucks held their composure in OT and finished it off.
Jrue struggled all game but hit a huge 3 at the right time down the stretch, same with Khris. Giannis was solid throughout. Lopez with the clutch block on KD in ot.

omg KD toeing the 3 pt line is the difference from the end of 4.... what a scary shooter. I honestly dont know how anyone could guard KD any better, yet he still goes off and hits contested jumpers all game like its easy.

Resigning Blake is probably their number 1 priority. The amount of contested/circus layups that he over brook lopez in this series was crazy. His defense on Giannis and work on the offensive boards was also amazing.

Jeff is probably signed under a vet min deal over the summer.

Dimwidde is most likely traded for a defensive wing or big.

Bruce is probably going to leave as some team is probably going to offer something above the mid-level exception. If he's really loyal to the nets, I suppose he can be in a sign & trade deal (depends on if the nets have his bird rights)

The more interesting ones that you didn't mention are DeAndre Jordan & Landry Shamet.

DeAndre's probably gone before next season starts. Dude is getting paid 9+ mil for playoff DNPs & despite how much kd and kyrie love him, he's just dead salary atm.

Landry might get tossed in for various trades, as he's a young player with decent potential that teams might want in a trade involving Dinwiddie or Jordan. (Both are risky trade options for other teams, as Jordan is a aging athletic big and Dinwiddie is coming off a injury)

Disappointing end for the Nets but can't be mad.

They rose and fell with KD.

Fittingly enough, the same shot that Durant made to send the game to OT is the same shot that he missed that could of once again tied it.

It's just a shame that it went down like that with Harden also being on the team. While Harden was still effective as a play-maker, obviously more is expected of him.

I think if Kyrie was healthy it would of been a different story but the Nets had enough to win still. No excuses.

He fell just short but great effort from Durant. I think he is the best player in the NBA right now.

Congrats to the Bucks.

Here's what they did in the 4th:

Jrue iso step back 3 vs Harden

Jrue attacked but Brown was able to stay infront ending in turn around jumpshot in the post

Giannis layup after attacking Green

Giannis attacked but got walled off, Khris bailed them out with a 3.

Giannis post up attack missed a short hook

Giannis attacked, offensive foul

Jrue iso got baited to take a semi open midrange by Harden who was backing off

Khris attacked Shamet, missed short floater

Pat curled, Harden got switch on him, Pat attacked for an open layup

Jrue iso attacked KD, KD stayed infront forcing him to settle for a corner midrange

Giannis attacked from the top

Khris attacked, tried to drive on KD but KD slid his feet well forcing Khris to take a contested midrange

Giannis post up, short hook inside of 3ft.

Jrue attacked Harden, Harden flopped, Jrue with an open floater

Giannis post up on Harden, settled for a contested turnaround jumper

Giannis post up attack Green

Jrue attacked, dished to Lopez for a dunk

Khris attacked, dished to Giannis but he fumbled the catch

The Bucks attacked in 15/18 possession. Either you didn't watch and just got your info from a bunch of social media comments or you're clueless. Did you really think that it's that easy if the Bucks just attacked lol. You're making it sound simple like they're playing streetfigher and all the Bucks needed to do was attack.

Bucks ISO'ing and not having ball/man movement in the 4th made them a lot easier to defend.

Krul_Lurk said:

To help you understand, I posted the play by play and pointed out that they attacked in 15/18 possessions and they only settled 5x with Giannis only settling once. You replied again with something unintelligible.

Now you're saying "When I say that the Bucks settled I'm talking about how they weren't assertive.". Like what do you want them to do, shout and beat their chest lol. Hesitant? They kept ISO'ing and weren't even looking to pass. They were definitely not hesitant.

First Round Predictions:

76ers/Wizards - 76ers easy.

Nets/Celtics - Nets in 4.

Bucks/Heat - Bucks in 6. Heat are not surprising anyone this time and I like Jrue on Jimmy.

Knicks/Hawks - Close series that could go either way. Hawks in 6 or 7.

Jazz/Grizzlies - Jazz easy.

Suns/Lakers - With Lebron not 100%, I'll take the Suns in 7. People are going to know Mikal and Cam after this series.

Nuggets/Blazers - Could go either way. Maybe the Blazers in 7.

Clippers/Mavericks - Clips easy.

2nd round predictions:

Sixers/Hawks - Sixers

Nets/Bucks - These to me are the two best teams left right now. Taking Bucks in an upset.

Jazz/Clips or Mavs - Jazz

Suns/Denver - Suns.

Sixers vs Bucks - Bucks in 5. I hope I'm wrong but this is the worst match-up for Embiid, Ben and Tobi.

Suns vs Clippers - Suns in 6. IF some miracle Kawhi comes back and isn't a shadow of his former self ala Harden, I'm going with the Clippers.

He doesn't even have to hit free throws, just attack the rim. I've never seen a guy this big be so scared of shooting the ball.

Maybe (Pandemic P)orzingis?

I don't know the exact time, but there was a play where he had a wide open dunk or layup, and he passed on that for a shovel pass to Matisse Thybulle. (Who had to get it up over 2 guys...)

@deg
That's the weird thing tho. Simmons has a WAY better hook shot than Giannis. It's a perfect looking running hook that's smooth as butter, but he refuses to take it.

ye get rid of Ben Simmons lol trade his ass

imagine getting paid super star dollars but is bench on the last minute of a critical game because he cannot shoot free throws what a clown

I mean the dude passed up an open dunk.
Hes basically Lonzo with no jumpshot.

Now the question is, who'll take him & how much is his value.

Ben just want to pass the ball every time because he knows if he takes any shot he will just be fouled and go to the free throw line where he will miss each time, he should be a bench player and not a starter and sure not a superstar

at least Giannis will dunk that even if he is not good with free throws

@dream_mirror

ye agreed he should be like Giannis on his mindset attack the rim or just learn how to make floaters and hook shots with his height

Anybody else confused by the Danilo Gallinari mismatches all series? Korkmaz guarding Gallinari on a couple possessions last game was weird, but this game had me wondering how long Doc's gonna be able to keep his job.

George Hill on Gallinari... If I was a Philly fan, I'd be absolutely sick.

Good question, the problem of that is they dont have an SF height type of player besides Ben.

i'll not be surprised if Doc is outta Philly few days by now.
Also, Mike Scott needs to go.
They can make Danny Green an asset for a trade or something.
I dunno between Howard & Korkmaz though.

They should trade Ben for something else.
Probably someone like CJ. or a decent starting point guard.

An Atlanta team actually didn’t choke!

Whoa feels weird.

I got Suns and Hawks in the Finals believe it or not.

And I believe Suns win.

I'ma spell it out for you a bit. The Bucks, in game 6, with the game on the line, looked lost during key possessions. They did not put their best foot forward. That's all there is to it.

You even said:

What the Bucks should've done is move the ball more, run different sets, and hunt Harden.

Bucks ISO'ing and not having ball/man movement in the 4th made them a lot easier to defend.

You're more lost then the Bucks were in that 4th quarter.

Whatever you found to be "unintelligible" (lol) is your business.

Huh lol? The Bucks won game 6 by by 15 and they actually looked great that game. You really gonna spell it out for me and say I'm more lost than the Bucks in that 4th quarter lol. Your basketball observations and reading comprehension were even worse than I imagined.

Told ya to just take the L and move on. Stop embarrassing yourself.

Oversized and overpaid Andre Robertson without a shot.

They didn't bench him he played 36 minutes. He would have been more effective on the Bench though

That was a simple mistake and that's obviously besides the point but whatever. It's not like you ever really understood the point to begin with.
