Looks like there is no good plot after the first season. I mean, ok, she handled the reality of what the psycho pass is and how it works, but what then? Like the main character shifted, and it looks like it's not that good planned scenario. I will see what this second season gives but I don't have much hope. I am binging without the interest...

They always make the worse assumptions, they just assume that enforcer who was killed was trying to escape, they just assume that kidnapped inspector did the shooting on purpose, and they just assume she's doing it for some purpose like a secret mission. They can't even think it could have been a case of friendly fire. Yeah there's that psycho-pass reading safety, but it doesn't mean somebody can't run in front of the shot by accident. They're too stupid to check if the inspector was on a secret mission to rule out that theory, and they're too stupid to think that maybe they walked into a trap which is exactly what they thought originally that holo-woman bait was to begin with. They much rather assume right in the middle of the action, people decide to desert the post and fight their allies. They don't even question if the enforcer was behaving like they were going to desert before the mission, or that was the kidnapped inspector psycho-pass was getting cloudy beforehand. They just assume stupid stuff.

And they just keep allowing the criminals to commit their crimes. Akane pretty much let the bomber set off his bomb. Just like last episode that kidnapped inspector just let the bad guy subdue her by doing nothing when he lunged at her. That enforcer just let himself get shot by standing there doing nothing while unable to take the shot.

Going forward I'm just going to expect them to make the most stupid wrong assumptions, and continue to allow the criminals to commit their crimes when they could have otherwise done something.

I have nothing to say except this season hasn't been a letdown whatsoever so far. Time for round 2 with the new Shogo Makishima.
