| Still its a very beautiful anime. I cried a little while watching, again. I really love these characters and this atmosphere. Setsuna is so sweet, she came to take care of the main character while he was sick. And of course, she understood everything all this time, but she chose her own feelings. Can you blame her for this? I think not. Not many would give up their love (as Touma tried to do). Besides, in the end, Setsuna decided to let Kitahara and Touma be together, it was very strong and mature act, Setsuna is great. Kitahara also suffered and cried (although much less than he should have after he broke the hearts of two goddesses), so all three of them suffered in this anime, one way or another. Its worth mentioning Kitahara's friends, they understood everything correctly (in my opinion, even earlier than Kitahara himself understood it lol) and even tried to set him on the right path (from their point of view, since they didnt know the whole truth). It was very touching how Kitahara was looking for Touma everywhere (after he left Setsuna like the bastard, although she of course already understood everything), i felt that moment. And in the end it was very touching how they met and kissed, both crying, with "Twinkle Snow '13" playing in the background. What can i say - White Album 2 is a masterpiece and i should have watch it earlier. p.s. Setsuna's red jacket is very similar to Yuki Morikawa's jacket. A reference? p.p.s. When Kitahara was looking for Touma, he walked along the river bank past the bridge. There was a very similar place in the first part of the White Album (Yayoi Shinozuka stopped in a place like that in her car). Does this mean that both parts take place in the same city? |
