| Huh i mean it was an ok episode. Very interested to see what pushed Yuno over the edge finally, was her mental just that fucked up after all this time and it finally reached a tipping point with another game of cat and mouse? Or was it a long term plan going to happen regardless? Either way idk it confuses me since she seemed pretty tame before and things were going as well as they were, now it feels like the last 2 episodes of development for them is about to get thrown out. I'll also admit, with all do respect i don't give a fuck about the side cast of Aru and such. Like i thought they were cool for an Arc related to the Survival Game of Future Diaries and could be nice as recurring characters to engage in SOL moments, Aru maybe in helping Yukiteru uncover Yuno's past and help him understand him more, but straight up playing another arc of Manhunt to "save" Yukiteru i kinda rolled my eyes at especially when it REALLY feels like they forced Yuno's hand. Like until i actually learn more context of what is happening, it feels more like they are acting more as a burden to Yuno and Yukiteru in the survival game by actively also hunting them down instead of the other Future Diary holders. Genuinely i think there is no safter place on planet earth rn for Yukiteru then to have Yuno next to him with prep time, so honestly i wouldn't mind if Yuno just cleared half the cast then finished the game herself. I did like Mur Mur and Deus doing an inhouse bet though, kinda foreshadowed to me Mur Mur is not all the cute figure we see, especially with how she altered the game to make things more fun. Something about Deus though saying Yukiteru was his favourite and the one bet he'd stick with start to finish for some reason i thought was cool as shit, hope they show more of how they met and viewed each other before the game. |
