@Odayama, I put stickies somewhere on the shelf and write down what's on the back row. Helps me out quite a bit!

Anyway, I've got some new pics too, I shall just link you here, a blog on MAL where I've already done all the grunt work

Thanks for the tip! You also have a great collection yourself. I see your a big Osamu Tezuka fan. I hope to own more Black Jack and Phoenix as I heard they're great series.

Wow, this is my first time seeing anyone else owning any copies of Muhyo and Roji's Burea of Supernatural Investigation. I thought I was the only one. Seeing your collection reminds me I've got some major ordering to do, I'm way behind on several of the titles we share. Keep it up :-)

I've noticed in a couple people's collections that they don't have a complete set of "Banana Fish". I know I don't. Guess they're out of print. I am missing 7 random volumes, with 1 - 3 being part of those 7 missing volumes. Can't even start reading it if I wanted to lol.

@Caduceus
Always makes me happy to see some Banana Fish on someone else's shelf! And other stuff that's also on my shelves (Parasyte, GTO, Mushishi, Future Diary, Dr. Slump), but I also see gaps, which would drive me insane!
And you've got a lot of Wii games, are there really that many worth playing/owning? I only have 7 Wii games. I have maybe 55 or so PS2 games though, around 20 Gamecube, almost 30 DS, and 32 GBA games, but I just can't seem to find anything for my Wii.

@SirInqued
On the plus side, Banana Fish vols 1-7 have been printed twice. The first time, they were flipped, but you should be able to find them for fairly cheap if you can't find the 2nd edition ones. There are also other ways to find the first couple of volumes.

Thanks for the info. It was never a series I really thought about getting, but when I saw 12 of the 19 volumes at a used bookstore early last year for a buck a piece, I couldn't pass it up. They've been sitting unfinished since then and wanting to fill in gaps in my collection I've started to actually make a bigger effort in finding them. Thanks again :-)

You might have to settle for some ex-library books, I had to for my Firefighter Daigo collection, but it's better then not having them at all! And apparently, no one ever checked out Firefighter Daigo because they were in freakishly good shape for ex-library. I'd check Alibris' website, since you can use credit card or paypal there. Volume 3 is going to be the most expensive of 1-3 btw, not sure why, it's just rarer. Be happy there's a copy there for $10 (though shipping costs will sneak up on you). But it's definitely worth getting the rest of the series

Banana Fish wasn't too hard for me to find. I have Volumes 1-3 and 8-12. I also have 4-7 and 13 on order, and the rest of the series seems to be fairly common, so I have no worries there. I guess I was fortunate in finding Volumes 2 & 3 for $13 bucks a piece back in December.

I don't know what you mean by gaps. Not all my series are complete yet since I aimed for obtaining the rare OOP volumes first, but most of my series have consecutive volumes up to a certain point. The only manga I have that break this succession are Parasyte (just missing Volume 4, but I know where to order the Del Rey publication from due shipping to Canada is a killer so I'm waiting until I find something else there), Eden: It's an Endless World (bought these for $2 each, but 8-10 are OOP so I'm praying Dark Horse issues a reprint before I collect the rest of the series), JoJo Part 3 (have #6, which is the rarest volume, and have the rest on order from RightStuf), Kare Kano (also have the rest on order) and Full Metal Panic! & Overload (doesn't seem to be rare, so I'll buy the rest eventually). I also have a lone volume of Phoenix #3 and The Big O #6 that I picked up for $3, but I have no intention of buying the rest due to the ridiculous prices for the OOP volumes.

I actually don't play my Wii often and out of all the systems I own (all major consoles/portables since the 5th generation, including the recently released Vita), I have the least amount of games for it (obviously not including the 3DS and Vita). I'm pretty sure the only game I bought for it over the past year was Skyward Sword, and the only future releases I'm looking forward to are Xenoblade and The Last Story, so there really isn't anything I would recommend. I actually have over 200 Xbox 360 games stored on the same shelf, but they never made their way into the picture since there are no manga up there. This same shelf also held 250 PS2 games, but with manga taking priority shelf space I had to move them to a shelf elsewhere at my place.

Too lazy to make 7 codes for images.

I don't think i posted my collection in here ages ago, but this is what I currently have. In my shelf, including light novels, i have 321 at the moment (322 is expected to arrive on March 1st). ;u; My bookshelf would seriously be full if i ever had a job, but at least, for being 6 years old, i'm starting to hear people saying i have the most based on the people they know. I have them in 4 different languages, all located where it's corresponding size goes.

all that pink is most likely to scare people~

I recently took updated (and significantly higher quality) pics of my collection; which is somewhere above a thousand books... I never bothered to count em. All in all it is about 30 shelves. I have my collection entry configured so that you can click on a series and view its corresponding MAL entries (if they exist); this should help those who cannot read Japanese.

Nice collections.=) Impressive OoO.

I don't count but I spent a lot. These days I stagnated. I must have about 800 manga. ... And uh comic fifteen. * laugh *
I have more space on my shelves * laugh * most of which I put into cartons. But the shelf is always filled.

Most recent video taken of my collection, which is mostly manga. I don't speak in it (too embarrassing), the lighting is poor, and I was a bit shaky, but it gets the job done. Some things are missing from the shelves since they were currently being used, and the pile of stuff at the head of the bed were things that hadn't been organized yet.

Good enough to show my manga collection of 1503 volumes, but all my electronics and my best figures are in another room, and a lot of other stuff is still in boxes until I find a place for them.

My tiny collection

I'm planning on collection Detective Conan manga on German, since I'm not fond of Case Closed due to name change. The whole world uses Shinichi, but the English version has to be Jimmy. Blargh. 5.5e a volume seems like a OK price, but I'll probably wait for a discount and buy more.

Durarara Vol 2 and Ichigo 100% Vol 1 arrived recently. I'm just too lazy to take a photo. I decided to throw in my NEO magazines as well, since they relate to anime and manga.

I don't think TP finished Mirai Nikki before they imploded...

You were saved from having an unfinished series sitting and waiting for some nice company to pick it up again.

I haven't taken any new pictures in a long time, and I have attained quite a bit more since the last time I shared. I went ahead and took extensive pictures of my collection, and I apologize for the weird angles. I have my shelves in the hallway of my house and it's quite narrow. I'll post the pictures in a blog entry as well if you feel like leaving any comments or have questions about titles or anything you find interesting.

Current count: 905 volumes ( 29 more volumes to be expected in the mail as of this post not added into total count )

Ok, considering I'm in the middle of moving, shit is still a mess. Thankfully I did find the time to sort out my manga. It's a collection I started over 10 years ago and even though it's not an exceptional amount of volumes (at least, that's what I think), I'm still quite content with it. Oh, and if I count the 3 volumes I have twice, I would have exactly 666 volumes.

Oh, click a picture and it will redirect you to a neat excel-list of all the volumes. No software required.

Maybe you mean that they're "different" because that's the italian version and not the english one? xDD

I've always been meaning to post in this thread.

I have bookshelves all over my room, not just of manga so that's why these images are zoomed in and not of the whole bookcase.

Note: These images are HUGE!

Stuff (mostly) in English

BL

Everything Else (+plus a few light novels)

A miscellaneous shelf of light novels, art books, doujin, etc

Looking at this reminds me that I am shit at collecting whole series and that there's a lot of stuff I haven't even read yet (mostly in the BL section orz).
