Ah yes, male Japanese characters and their overwhelming desire of being the manliest of them all.

Also, I second the comment diagnosing the Sasuke Uchiha syndrome on Kamina.

I might be too jaded & 15 years too old to genuinely enjoy whatever this filler dialog is about. Will keep watching but with waning interest.
So far noticeably less good compared to KLK.

This episode gets way too late lol I actually think the distinct artstyle is pretty fun. The usual style is probably better but people get way too upset over the change.

It's a solid episode, I'm really getting into it now; I like the way the Gunmen are being revealed, and some lore is being revealed. Also, the introduction of the Black siblings was cool.

Well, after a nice introduction in the first three episodes, the fourth episode seems "meh" although the first episodes weren't perfect either, I really don't like the scenario based on coincidences, everything happens perfectly at the right moment in a completely unnatural way but ok, in this episode the animation is strange, the scenario....those strange balls lie somewhere for some unknown reason and only when the characters try to eat them they suddenly run away and get into their robots parked not far away which no one noticed...ok, apart from that it's strange that everyone is hungry but only the girls have to hunt, the only weirder was the scene with eating that mole's butt, I don't know who came up with such an irrational idea but at least it was quite funny. Despite everything a boring episode but I think it should be much better later on.

Ya... is it just me or did the animation suddenly switch up/get lower quality. The little robot popping like a balloon was Funny though. Not again... one woman shoving her boobs in simon's face wasn't enough? I mean honestly no reason to be upset there Simon, Kamina lowkey saved you by attracting their attention. The older brother shaking his ass was also wild where's Ron when you need him also "Flammable water" is crazy way to say oil.
Youngest one implying she smelled his feet. This show is so out of pocket. I mean the dogs they ride are "backwards". Also btw where is Kamina's Sword this episode.
Lol it has to Drill down and damage the other Gunmen every time they do that?
Like how the moment they do the cool combination it looks like the budget goes back up.
YO WTF did that rat just tear of it's own ass just so they could have like a tiny single bite. This show is beyond unhinged I've said it multiple times now and I'll keep saying it XD.
It was raw too wdym "delicious" This defenitly felt like a filler but at the same time this show is so unhinged it's probably not one at all.
Like is that tail just gonna grow back with the power of anime logic or what?
But yeah the vibe shift between this episode and the last one is just insane this show is so up and down man, last episode was relatively typical cool and serious shonen. Now this episode clearly still had the "soul" part I mean that's pretty much what the whole episode was about but it seemed a lot goofier overall.

There's nothing wrong with the "animation" of this episode. It's exactly as well animated as all the other episodes.
The only thing that's different in episode 4 is that it has a different STYLE. You're complaining about the ART STYLE of this episode, not the "animation."

Whether this episode's art style is worse than the others' is a matter of personal taste, but there's nothing wrong with the animation's quality.
Unfortunately, most anime fans, illiterate as they tend to be, have a habit of using the word "animation" when they mean "art style."

yo what happened to the animation in this ep, it was so distracting

the episode itself besides the art was ok, not really great tho, kinda boring
I usually like filler, but with the animation looking so off the whole ep kinda sucked for me 2/5

percebi um certo downgrade na animação do episodio, mas acho que to relevando porque imagino q eles usaram a maior parte do orçamento nos 3 eps introdutorios, oq e uma decisão justa ne mano.
confesso que achei esse ep um pouco mais aleatorio; sei la, a parte da tacação de pedras, a parte da fome, quando comeram o rabo do bicho e ganharam a força pra derrotar os bolinha de peloKKKKKK tipo, pareceu mais random pra mim. pelo menos, foi divertido.

Is it just me, or did the animation take a nosedive? Half the cast now have the same chunky mouth animation, they only animate Kittan in closeups, and all the characters just feel way more stiff than during the Littner Arch.

The episode is just okay besides that, but damn I hate the animation in this episode.
