| Watched duel monsters as a kid from time to time and didn't realise there was a regular anime season released before it. It's unlikely I'll sit through 200 eps of duel monsters despite the nostalgia but I'll watch this for the story. Can't beat the dubbed opening of duel monsters though. First ep was decent. I didn't realise how mean Jounouchi was. Yuugi's so cute. The vocal range of Megumi Ogata is amazing. I was surprised Yuugi's grandpa made that creepy comment to Anzu since I don't remember him being creepy at all but I guess it was par for the course back then. I hope that trope isn't still prevalent... |

| like the sub of DM, I've already seen bits of pieces of this, but wanna properly sit through and watch all the eps 1-27. Hopefully finally getting around to it! |
