KingBaller06 said:Everyone is waiting in anticipation for Ouga to show up. While that is going on, Boruto tries to rally everyone and suggests that they all work together to survive. However, there are some that don’t agree with Boruto’s idealistic ways. Someone who happens to agree with Boruto is exposed to be one of Ouga’s minions.
Ouga uses some kind of Curse Mark to kill him and now it’s time for the next experiment, Light. In contrast to the name, everyone is in a room of darkness.
Yatsume is able to find a candle, and Boruto spots candles for everyone else. Ouga tells them that they all have to reach the goal without letting their candles burn out. An old guy sneezes, and blows his candle out. Earlier in the episode, this old man mentions how he sneezes when he’s nervous. That’s called FORESHADOWING.
That nervous habit got the best of him and now he’s dead. Basically these candles are their lives and the way this works is if a candle’s fire fade, whoever isn’t holding a candle dies. We then briefly cut to Mitsuki and Sarada at the Thunder Train station that Boruto went to in order to board the Thunder Train back. The staff have no clue what happened, but they mention an employee that was in charge that day who quit, THE SAME EMPLOYEE WHO WAS SMILING MANIACALLY PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT.
Sarada and Mitsuki hear a noise coming from said employee fleeing and the two go after him.
As everyone is moving through the path, they notice a bunch of water. Earlier they were given lanterns to hold their candles. The kunoichi being paid, Rokuro, and her client move away from Boruto and the others and do their own thing. They run into a gate that closes them off. Kiseru expresses the possibility of Ouga’s other minions being amongst the group, which sews some distrust among everyone… except for Boruto.
Boruto has Yatsume hold his lantern while he lifts up the gate. He can’t do it alone, so Kiseru and Nanua lift along with him and they succeed! Now the group finds themselves in a desert with a fan blowing strong gusts of wind at them. At this rate, their candles won’t stand a chance. Boruto comes up with the idea of forming a shield.
Those who aren’t shinobi will hold onto their candles while everyone else will surround them and protect them from the wind. Shamo puts up an Earth Style: Mud Wall… which happens to be PATHETIC! BRO YOU CAN’T BE A STONE SHINOBI AND SUCK THAT BAD WHEN IT COMES TO A BASIC EARTH STYLE JUTSU! So everyone executed Boruto’s plan and they all survived.
Boruto asks where Shamo is, and apparently he went off with the woman. Said woman uses Shamo as a stepping stool to get up the wall, but when Shamo asks for her help… she talks about breaking her nail and leaves Shamo there to die, like the piece of filth she is. The lady who offered her water ended up dying because her candle was melted due to the temperature of the room exceeding the melting point of the candle wax.
The group heads to the door, and Shamo is able to rejoin them. Ouga greets them as they get inside, and Shamo learns the girl has attached to Rokuro now. Now it’s time for the bonus stage. There are two elevators. The one leaving first can only fit two more people, and the rest go onto the other elevator.
Everyone figures out that by the time the elevator reaches the top, all their candles will be melted. Kiseru figures the only way to stay alive is to kill each other and take each other’s candles. But we all know that Boruto isn’t going to accept that. The redhead is forced to take the lives of two innocent people in the elevator and the girl is killed off by Rokuro. Well deserved for that manipulating piece of trash.
Boruto notices the melting wax and figures out a solution to keep everyone alive. To combine the candles and create one long candle and have everyone hold. Boruto’s group comes up with everyone still alive. That ends the second experiment.
Sarada and Mitsuki catch up to the employee and he is frantically running away. Sarada and Mitsuki run into a switch and find out that it was recently switched. The employees tells them that the passengers became experiments for his (referring to Ouga) experiments. He continues to run into the tunnel and it blows up.
I’m excited to see more in the next episode!
