| Well, here he is, former legend leveling up back to the top. Still wild to see his skill in action lol. Dunno why those guys invited Ye Qiu to the team tho, isn't his op skill not visible? Trying to kill him even tho he survived the phantom cat. It's w/e tho. The end is a little sad tho, his retirement is made clear to all so that's the end of that oof. |
| Truly remarkable I think, that they managed to pull of such a sad scene so early in the anime. That probably means that the these first 2 episodes did a good job of engraining the main character in my mind, and the connection is definitely there which is very impressive. They also made sure to show in full glory how loved the guy was. Altogether it's a very well made scene, his retirement, and really shows his mentality, based on how fast he got into the "it already happened can't do anything about it", or maybe he didn't even care so much about that account as long as he could continue playing the game, he's just certain of his ability to return because of his love for his game, very cool stuff. The in-game scenes were also very well made. A basic RPG concept, but they didn't focus a lot on what it consists of and it's mechanics, which is good as it would have been boring, easier to just realize it ourselves as it's not that tough at all. So I think it's very good that they are just presenting concepts and gameplay without much explanation of it. The fact that guilds are sponsored in a way, or at least in-name by some pro teams really shows how huge the game is and how powerful on a marketing scale the teams are. Would be insane indeed to have such a game be so large on a global level for 10 years straight. Would certainly waste countless hours of my life playing such a beast. |
