| Rewatching from the beginning in preparation for the end. Also haven't seen any AoT in 5 years. Man, this season is so damn slow at times. And so much of the time is spent on characters just self reflecting at the horror of it all while not really doing anything else. I do like what they are trying to go for, but it's overkill 500% here. I don't care after the 15th time a character self reflects about how fucked everything is. Also it probably gets better later, but Eren/Mikasa are so damn boring. They have one thing about them and nothing else. Eren wants to kill all titans, Mikasa only wants to do things to the benefit of Eren and doesn't care about anything else. Armin did have some good strategy moments but that's about all he does too. At least from the little bit of Season 2 I've gone to, this does get a lot better with the side characters, but as of just Season 1, it's pretty meh. Hange is still insane and lovable, and Levi is still a badass. Armored Titan and Female Titan are still super cool, and Sasha is still best side character of the training corps for now (at least until Ymir and Krista dethrone them in next season hah). Music is still awesome. Idk pretty good season despite all of that. It's more like a 7 now than a 9 like I used to have, but still pretty decent overall. |

| What I want right now is Annie's full backstory. I forget, do we even get it, and if so, when?? I could ramble on about how much I have taken this series for granted, and now having re-watched it, seeing how great it really is: so yeah I'll leave it at that. This was one of my first anime, for obvious reasons. I went in looking for the best, most popular, top-rated anime right off the bat as anyone would. And when I finished this season around 5 years ago (started watching this around the time season 3 part 1 was nearly done airing) my impressions were: yeah that was good. I enjoyed it. But now, having watched quite a fair share of anime and knowing what most of it is like, this really stands tall above almost all the rest and MORE than justifies it being the literal titan of anime that it is. I won't say that this show has the best CHARACTERS ever, but at the very least they do justice to the WORLD, its STORY, the freaking SOUNDTRACK holy sh*t. Even though this is by no means an OLD anime, I daresay it was still well ahead of its time. In a land full of cutesy cutesy high school comedy and romance, Attack on Titan told a brutal story, but the difference is from other darker stories of its time is that this one is far more accessible to the general audience and knows how to captivate EVERYONE, not just some niche group. Anyway, enough of that. This was legendary, far better than I remember it. Changing my score from what was a mid 7/10, to a high-9/10. Gonna go watch Lost Girls now, which I have not seen yet actually. I just need more of Annie because we're not going to see her awake for quite awhile. 9.7/10 |

| Now that I remember, there was one person who interacted with Annie as much as Eren, it was Jean. Why didn't Jean react when she found out that Annie was the titan? All friends in training 104 as well. I didn't see their reaction. It was true that only remembering his mother could made Eren activate his powers. Now Annie is reluctant to protect the people from Eren? Funny Titan couple playing at the Stohess resort. What Eren said when he recalled about Annie before seemed a bit too much. Anyway my heart still leans on Annie idkw C'mon now Eren is indirectly killing people, so he is no different from Annie? Erwin really leveled up in character. I think Annie also bears the pain as Mikasa. I have a pretty bad feeling about the dads in AOT. What? Did Annie bet already? Instead of pulling Eren out of the titan, she ran away? What? Titan also knows pain? ok... Apparently Annie didn't want to kill Eren. I'm on Annie's side, so Mikasa's attitude is indeed a bit obnoxious. Remember, not long ago, Ann spared Mikasa's life. I remember Levi's ankle hurt? I will remember the story of the wall. It's pretty freaky. Hope the ending of AOT is worthy of this story. Finally, Jean was the Jean I was waiting for. Yelling and etc Wow the survey corps members look so good in their shirts. Jean has joined the team of three now lol What did Jean think? Luckily they're not dead. They should be grateful. Really Mikasa is so savage, and now she feels scared when Eren talks about smashing and death? She wants Eren to be more obedient? Be a "good kid"? See, it's true that Mikasa has an abnormal mentality. |

| I LOVED this! I need to see where this goes. I can't believe I put this show off for so long. I need more. I need to know what this wall really is. Why does it extend downwards and to the side. What is inside it? I have so many questions |
