| Renge doing Renge stuff again, I don't blame Komari for getting spooked as wearing whatever Renge was wearing during a foggy day is terrifying The second half was peak NNB, Renge learning about loss and the cycle of life is beautiful |

| I was really hesitant to watch Repeat at first, due to the nature of it all taking place in the same year. Thought it would basically be just the same all over again. But we're here for the vibes and this episode definitely made me regret putting in on hold for so long. Renge learning about life and death really got the waterworks going, similar to her dealing with loss when her friend left in season 1. Best NNB episode so far. |
| Someone mentioned this being a private school earlier but I'm pretty sure it's just a regular public school. There are lots of rural areas in Japan where the population has plummeted because all the younger people moved away to the cities. So you have these once large and thriving schools now having only a handful of students. Yumoto Junior High School for example only had two students remaining in 2023 and closed down after they graduated. Anyway this is one of my favorite episodes of the series; the scenes with Renge's teru teru bozu costume were hilarious. |
