I legitimately thought I'd accidentally started on episode 1 of season 2 or the episode was labeled wrong... If nothing else, this is the first time I paused in the middle of an episode and did extra research online to see if I was watching the right thing. ._.

So the first episode starts somewhere in the middle with zero context? Did I just get spoiled the rest of the season?

This has to be the worst first episode I have seen. I assume the context will be given through flashbacks in the upcoming episodes, but how am I meant to feel any excitement when I already know:

nothing really bad will happen to any of the girls I saw in this episode
they will somehow end up joining his harem

I regret not skipping this episode.

There have been many healer anime lately, and I thought that this one would be cool because I thought they were on the run, or on the bad side, or an assassin that has healing magic, idk. But it was something far more mundane. I've also never been a fan of harem anime, so this one was another disappointment for me in the healer anime category.
