| Reki should soon realis that while he may not be on the same spotlight as Langa and the rest, he can support them from behind the scenes. I didn't expect SNAKE to participate let alone be extremely good at it, hopefully we get some explanation why he takes all the crap ADAM has done to him. |

| Just wanted to say that I love Reki very much <3 It hurts to see both him and Langa hurting, but I hope they do talk more about what they have been feeling and work things out. Pretty good advice from the mom, and it the confusion of it being a she was funny. I feel like I'd be nervous if my future kids came to me for advice too X) Also idk what Joe was really talking about...but at least the guys understood him. It was cool of him to give his own advice and look over the them. And I thought Shadow was going to improve as a character, but obviously not.The laser must have hurt even more for someone with glasses. And I'm still pissed off about his comments about Reki >:( Let's see him wet his pants if he ever goes up against Adam. And I hope Miya regrets his comments about Reki too, and appreciates him as a skater and friend. Interesting to learn more about Adam and Tadashi/Snake. I feel bad for the abuse/manipulation Adam went through as a kid. I hope Joe, Cherry, and Snake finally knock some sense into him...and he steps up/reflects on his actions. |
| Epic start. Adam starts getting WAY too competitive, wanting to meet his 'match' like creepy Hisoka. And we also know why he's got issues based on his concept of 'love', due to the way his aunts treated him. They are showing how competition and confidence can get to one's head with Tadashi and Adam (Reki and Langa - though, I doubt Langa would ever act the way Adam does). That was so sad when Langa thought it was Reki but it was Adam. Joe touched my heart just then talking to Reki. Mom: "You like that person right?" Langa: *panic* That was so cute! Joe is killing it. |

| I hope the ending isnt some childish "its ok to not be amazing!" theme where Reki gets downgraded to a board customizer or something like they've been hinting at, it'll be so lame. |

| Well there was certainly a lot to unpack with this episode so here we go: Reiki is obviously giving Langa the cold shoulder and won’t talk to him due to what happened in the last episode obviously. I really wasn’t expecting Adam’s secretary to be a skater and not only is he the one that taught Adam HOW to skate in the first place he’s also wanting to compete in the tournament under the name Snake and it isn’t until after he beats Adam’s time that he figures out that it’s his personal secretary but also competing behind his back. That was quite a twist in the episode I wasn’t expecting here, obviously Adam’s pissed off at him for doing that but now Tadashi has set the stakes for if the former loses he must vow to never skate again which are some pretty interesting odds I’d say. I loved the scene between Langa and his mum immensely. His mum is just you know a good parent looking out for her son and her thinking that Langa’s injuries were the result of him being bullied in the second episode while reasonable to think that because she almost never sees Langa battered and bruised at all and just randomly comes home looking like he was in fight. The fact that Langa doesn’t mention that it was because he’s interested in Skateboarding that led to his fall intentionally just makes her adorably misinformed because of Langa’s awkwardness. That’s hilarious on it’s own. But come this episode and Langa’s trying to explain to his mum that he had a falling out with Reiki, she confuses the falling out for him wanting to woo a girl who she thinks he might fancy. XD I just gotta love Langa’s mum she’s just funny when it comes to these moments. That being said I like that Langa knows he messed up with Reiki and that he feels that the skating is not fun when he’s not there. And I do appreciate that Reki himself is going back to the races so it’s a step in the right direction he’s just not confident about showing his face to Langa or the others there. At the very least we can call that progress, he’s slowly getting back into it but not to the point where he’s racing again. I’m still liking where the show’s going so should be good at the very least. Great episode overall once again. |
