| Hey, pretty much the same problem here, but mine has been like this for like 4 months now, and is 453 messages not 65534 or something of that sort. I keep clicking the fix inbox button frequently, but it hasn't seemed to fix itself. Also, i don't know if this will help but mine is the same message. Lol well i just clicked the fix inbox twice and it made me go to 291 messages. Edit: Merged posts. Remember that you can edit your previous post by clicking 'edit' at the bottom right. |

| I usually click the button once and it fixes it fine for me. (haven't tried this) But if you click the button 4 times then one of the 4 servers should log it properly. It might be the reverse of when 1 of the servers went bad and we had a 25% chance of MAL erroring, messing up, etc. Until they took it offline to fix. |

| Mine problem may not to be like that. I really have around 4000 coz i studded abroad and didn't check my profile, but when i returned and tried to delete messages they didn't't disappear! I try to remove them again and again...I try remove all, only 20 and even one by one - no result there. The count of all messages didn't changes at all! I begging for help! |

I've run into this problem a lot lately. My advice is to try deleting them multiple times and then just don't mess with it for a while. And eventually they delete themselves (at least that works for me). The reason behind the occurrence is simple server lag. |

| I have the same problem... for a few weeks now. I just let it be at first, thinking it will go away, but it's still here : My messages says (65535) unread messages *_* sixty-five thousand!!! xD |
| Heh. So I noticed a "Fix Inbox" link at the bottom of my inbox and clicked it. Several minutes later, the 65535 message prompt disappeared, though my inbox page itself still says "You have 23 messages in your inbox" when I, in fact, have none. Oh well. I'm just glad the (!) is gone. |
| Eh, I have this problem too but for me it's with friend requests, not messages. & it's happened to me twice now, both times after accepting or declining a friend request. It went after a couple of days the first time but this time it seems to be hanging around. |
| It's been here for like half the entire year, I deleted (or at least, tried to delete) my messages but it remains at this ungodly number. If not this number, it reverts to my inbox pre-deletion, telling me I have 154 messages when in actual fact I have less than 20. |
