| Idk if it’s gonna pulled out later, but the show is making it seem that the entity and Hikaru are fused rather than it possessing Hikaru’s body. Especially when you have the MC questioning what exactly makes someone themselves. |

| I love the gray morality with this. Just because they're scary doesn't mean they're evil (although I'm extremely concerned for how many times they keep trying to have Yuki killed at intersections...). And "Hikaru" not valuing life isn't entirely because he's this scary greater being that is better than us and belittles mortals, but because he can see the full picture and how beautiful the cycle of rebirth is, and doesn't understand how scary it is to mortals that can't see what he does. |
