| Keigo is actually the wolf dude raring to go up against Moi? Must be a werewolf alter-ego kind of thing. We are starting to get into a more serious part of the story and Moi is doing everything he can to protect Nico. We now know what the dogs and raindrops mean in endangering Nico. |

| Nico's new spell was quite useful reminds me of the ability "slip". Was not expecting Keigo to be the leader of the dogs or rather it's his transformed alter ego. Keigo vs Morihito fight about to happen we finally have the shounen fights part of the series. |
| Wolf = Keigo, should have know that was coming all along, but it must feel bad for Moi knowing that Keigo has betrayed their friendship. They are about to duke it out Oni vs Werewolf style, while Nico and Kanshi take care of their side of things with the warlock. |

Proud of Nemu for finally introducing herself to the cast, but she still didn’t tell them about how they petted and cuddled with her in cat form lol Yeah. Decently surprising twist, still laughed at the usual end-of-the-episode meta commentary about itself being out of place into a serious arc. |

| No OP? So this is going to be a serious episode. I wasn't expecting a very serious episode from this show. They even have those magic candies which are very obvious allegories for drugs. Wow. Nemu finally introduced herself to Nico and the others! About damn time. She's too cute, so it'd be a waste if she didn't get much screen time and didn't become their friend. Some lore drops in this episode too. Witch and warlock are like light and dark? Nico being some type of chosen one? Prophecies? This is feeling a lot like Star Wars now lol. So, Nico is insanely strong. Makes sense why that Warlock is after her. All that was interesting and all but NO FUCKING WAY. I didn't see that twist coming at all. Wolf is Keigo?! Watching certain parts of the episode again, it becomes so obvious. The author did a terrific job! If Keigo was introduced more recently and if the Wolf form didn't look very different, the twist would've been very obvious. Making Keigo a "normal" friend introduced early on was great! Now that I think of it, when I first saw the OP I thought Keigo and that Wolf guy were the same person. When Keigo was introduced, I thought he'd be another witch or a familiar based on his character design but I thought he was just a human after his repeated appearances. I accepted him as a normal friend of Moi. Like even when Keigo threw Morihito in the pocket dimension and started monologuing, I thought he had just betrayed his friends which was already an unexpected twist. I still didn't think he WAS the Wolf and would fight Morihito. That's how well they threw me off. Not showing Wolf until recently was also a great move which helped conceal his identity for longer. The reveal was early enough that you couldn't put 2 and 2 together by yourself. I guess all I can say is that I'm seriously impressed, as most anime can't pull off a surprising twist like this so well. I really wanna watch the next episode now, but it'll have to wait. I'm just happy I wasn't spoiled about this. |
