| - Steins;Gate at the start is a very well written show, however, towards the latter half becomes convoluted and contrived, however, everything else about it, and your favorites seems to be pretty good to me. A good bunch of "cute girls doing cute things", no harm to anyone, simple innocent fun. - I'll give you the benefit of my own ignorance, as I have not read a single volume of any manga on your favorites, but, from first glance, they appear rather... bland. - If you're going to go all in with cute characters as your favorites don't have some random guy there, ruins the whole thing. At the very least, make the guy cute or something~ - How... Surreal these favorite people appear. o.o |

There is no such thing as; "Darker than Black." | Seriously, I don't see the appeal in Katanagatari. It's not even close to the one of the best things Isin has produced. I honestly want someone to break it down for me and explain why this thing is so acclaimed. Let me jam this in your head, into the head of everyone reading this. As someone who religiously reads western novels, in comparison: Light novels are shit. Even the worst of novels I've read are cult classics in comparison to light novels. They are SO badly written, lacking of proper expression and wordplay, and, to be honest, every light novel I've read, even the good ones, feels like I'm reading fanfiction written by a teenager. I praise monogatari, but even then I don't think its dialogue is all that... Witty. It's rather hit and miss, to be honest. I dislike Misaka, Mikoto with a passion, as well as the series the little tart originates from. She's a tsundere... that's it. She has no other traits that make her interesting. For godsake, I bet I couldn't tell her apart from Mine from Akame ga Kill if you just told me their traits. Come on.... Kayne isn't even that good. >.> He has like 5 songs I like. Oh, one more thing. | What a strange list. Ikuhara and Abe are good, but... the rest feels so generic. You seem to like old classic. It's okay I guess. But it comes harder to discuss about someone taste when he seems to like only what's commonly appreciated by the community. |
| Let's see, you seem to be unable to enjoy most shows unless they have cute girls or lolis with trite personalities.. The exceptions to this are two shows that appear to be grim-dark messes. |
