| the only one i genuinely hate is satokos uncle. takano i hated till i heard her back story and saw how she got manipulated, i feel sorry for her mostly now, keiichi pisses me off with his speeches in the second season but i liked him in the first so i dont hate him. |

| Satoko's Aunt and Uncle as well as Ritsuko Not liking how much hate poor Satoko gets, she is one of the best additions to the show. Her trap skills in Kai were nothing short of amazing =) |

| The only person I've ever wanted to be stabbed really badly was in Kai when Takano is little at the orphanage and that evil dude... Oh Lord. Whoever makes me feel bad for Takano is just evil. |

| I used to dislike Takano a lot, and then there was her sad past, one of the most depressive scenes in all the animes I've watched, so I guess it's Satoko's uncle, child molesting is just ... awful. |

| Takano and Satoko are picked on too much D: Satoko's my favorite and Takano is up there too I hate Shion, and Rena annoys me because she's an irrelevant mascot character (not completely irrelevant, but Rika and Keiichi are more important than her) and because I just don't like her personality. And I hate Rina Mamiya (Ritsuko). As a huge Satoko fan you'd expect me to hate Teppei, but I don't. I hate that he abuses Satoko, but I like his character. |

| The usuals Teppei and Rina. Plus Takano, I know she went through a hard time, but I can't agree that murdering innocent kids/people just to prove a point is rationable. After the episode in Kai when she killed everyone, I knew that I would always hate her. >.> |

| I think anyone in the right mind-- or at least, anyone with any humanity will watch this series and think Teppei is a bastard. That's just taken for granted. As far as main characters go, I don't know, I don't really hate any of them in specific. I don't like Mion or Satoko as much as other characters, but even they have their redeeming points. Character development-wise, I think Takano's pretty good. |

| Honestly, I hated Mion at first. But I started to like her because she offered to sacrifice herself, just to make Rika and the others safe. :3 I don't hate Takano anymore, because of her sad past. Though she did do quite alot of bad stuff -.-'' But after finishing Higurashi, I didn't hate a single character anymore. :) |
