| I'm literally the most jaded anime fan right now. I now mainly watch seasonal shows that are sequels or somewhat mainstream on the internet. All anime does for me is making me be reminded of my insecurities such as having no friends or sexual life which animays display a lot so I can at least goon to cute anime girls. But gooning is not enough anymore I either have to get laid and put my life on the rails or kms. |
| Anime is as trash as any other medium. Fan service is everywhere even outside of the anime sphere, I think it just seems more pronounced because it's animated. It really depends on the viewer's reason to watching certain degenerate-associated shows. Also, erotic shows can be provocative. It's rare, but it's important to distinct it from pure mindless indulgence. As for my own list, I'd say I'm anime trash since I like to watch a little bit of everything (including some ecchi and fan-service stuff) but that doesn't take away from the great comedies and refined works of art in there. My taste in manga however... pure trash. Lol. |

| Hot/Cute girls is never a reason why I disliked a anime. I think it improves media. Ecchi is my fav genre. (We need a more kemonomimi ecchi anime) |
